I got my cosmo black one today, pretty excited! It's out of power though, so all I can do for now is talk about it.

Hmm, I don't see the appeal of 3D, so I don't plan on getting one, especially when I got a new dsi exactly 3 weeks ago.

It actually wasn't the 3D that made me want to buy it (at the beginning, sure, but near the end it was all of the cool stuff). The gyro and tilt sensors will definitely be used, and the 3D effect looks amazing (it's much more than just a gimmick).

IDK, but don't expect any used 3DSes for a while. It's not cheaper anywhere, unless you live in teh UK.

I just realized that you probably don't since you said $250 and not (euro symbol)187 (or w/e the cheapest deal ended up being)

Hmmm . . . not to be a womp-womp, but I hear the battery life is pretty short. That an the price are keeping me from buying one. In a year or so, there'll probably be an upgraded model with longer battery life, so I think I'll wait for that.

I heard about some fighter pilot game on it where you can move the system and the camera moves with it, so it's like you're in an actual plane thing turning and looking around

ehhh, games can get much better on the 3ds, cause the carts are 8GB, where the DS's were 255mb(that's nearly 36 times as much).
I don't care much about the 3D(although i am intrigued by it), I may get one purely because my DS is broken and there's no point in buying a console that is essentially dead.
Probably gonna wait for 3DS lite or at least more colors, though.

I'm thinking about just waiting to my 12th birthday for one, because it will be cheaper. I would like the 3D though I'm getting 3% tired of my crimson DS lite...

3DS is R-A-W-S-O-M-E. My Aqua Blue is sitting right next to me as I type.
I have to agree with JadE, at first I wanted id for the 3D, but in the end, I realized AR Games was much more entertaining.

BTW, just bought Archery 2 for AR Games.

The bad thing about today's all the consoles/games are that the graphics are awesome, but the gameplay is boring. For example: Super Mario Galaxy 2 Wii -> Nice and smooth graphics, but Super Mario 64's gameplay is far far better

Im not sure if you can do this in other countries, but in England, if you get a phone on contract (pay monthly phone), on some websites you can choose a free gift with it, like the 3DS =]
I would get it, but my contract doesn't expire until 2012 december, and we'll all be dead by then anyways...

I still have the first version of the DS,   and quite frankly, don't need another one.
