Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Basically a topic to war with D55's Opera topic. Reasons why FF is better:
Not named after a thing that wives drag husbands to.
Named after a cool animal.
Parent company's mascot is a DINOSAUR.
FF's logo is EPIC.
More customizable.
Open-source.
Tell me any more I forgot. The only real downside to the 'Fox is that it's a bit of a memory hog. But if you're like me, you've got a fast computer so it doesn't matter.

Firefox has Firebug, a plugin for web developers. I use it every day.
But for everything else, I use Google Chrome.

FIREFOX FTW
No google chrome topic
And I'm not going to bother making one

The only reason is IE exists is so you can go and download another browser

Firefox is the best browser ever. And I agree with treejoe4, ie does only exist so you can download ff.

How is this accurate? To my recollection, on Windows machines Chrome is executed in a sandboxed environment, meaning even if there are flaws in the browser security, any malicious code cannot be executed to gain access to your operating system. Also, to my recollection, Firefox doesn't have this feature.
Or am I wrong?

I remember reading somewhere that firefox has less security holes than google chrome, and it has less safe for me in my personal experience.
I don't like either opera or firefox, only chrome, but I mainly prefer Opera because there's this cool opera song at the end of that game Portal 2, and the opera is sang by Turrets.
Yes, because of Portal 2, I prefer opera.
Ok.... I'm here because I use ff... and I was hoping for some cool addons or extensions or something.... nope.
I am disappoint in you, Orton.
(how is FF more customizable? I like the way opera handles widgets, extensions and skins. No restarting, and they're easy to add/remove/change settings.)

Also, Firefox's name sounds stupid.

This
And who cares about the name of a browser.
And the logo says nothing about the browser, either.
Sorry, but this topic is poorly made.

Anyway, actually, sometime I might try both FireFox and Opera, apparently they're the best, on account of there being no IE, or GC thread on this site so far.
Also, everything is in a name. It describes things. Telling by the name, FireFox is obviously a browser with supposedly speed, well, because foxes are fast. and it's apparently destructive.

I really don't know but I don't think I really care that much about the security of my browser rather than my actual computer.
And I now actually think this is all nonsense because we pick our browsers to what works for us best,
I have IE and Chrome, I use Chrome most of the time and I only use IE for some useless things like Guest bombing because it doesn't give me lag, and also I really don't like typing the address into the address bar, even though you only need a few letters and then press down and enter, its still too slow for me so I like how Chrome has the most visited thing, instead I just need to click on that
Wait, you made this topic just to war with mine? I'm not going for a war, here. I'm just saying that if you do use opera, here's some cool stuff I found for you.
