Struggling to Wake Up

I was in a dream, it seems like I am in a graveyard with cliffs and buildings... Then I was chased by tree monster.

Alright, I know that was not unique, the thing is, I know that I am dreaming. I struggled to wake up by moving myself in real life, and I couldn't, I felt like I'm paralyzed. Then I ran away from the monster in the dream. After a couple time, I managed to move my hand my dream starts to fade, as if your sight fades to another sight. Then I woke up.

It's kinda interesting how I can move both in real life and dream at the same time

The same thing has happened to me, I have dreamed 3-4 times knowing I was alseep...
The first one was when a dog talked to me, the other one was on a vulcano or something... I dont remeber the last ones though...

It has been reported that some victims of torture, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being tortured. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP.

Usually when I realize I'm in a dream I could change it. So example if I'm in a nightmare I could change it. Sounds like you need to figure out how to change your dream since you realize your in one.

I think what you may have been experiencing is sleep paralysis, a common side-effect of some lucid dreams, although this dream seems anything but lucid and I'm fairly sure you weren't awake.

i was in a dream and i suddenly (this is on earth ) got a poke ball and im like WTF
so i figure out how many pokemon are inside and there is 1 charmander olny
so i go impress evreybody by showing them a eral charmander (then i woke up)

LOL

i was piloting a mech and amazed everyone cuz i had a mech and it was olny 2014

I hate dreaming because when I dreaming at a good part I always wake up. But if it is bad like zombies I cant wake up. :'(
