1.9 pre-release

im living in a pnc village like 20 kilometers from the spawn point. the people are testificates. they look like monks the way they hold their arms and have big noses. does any one notice any change besides testificates, lilypads, and jumping gets exp?

The jumping part is a bug. Anyway,you also have snowmen! [Snow golems]

2 Blocks of snow + A pumpkin on a head it makes a snow man

That snowman distracts enemies which try to harm you ^_^ So you have time to run away

Jeb needs to stop pre-releasing stuff. Oh, wow, a beta test to rid us of bugs before we put it into the beta test! Seriously, let everyone have it at the same time.

I really don't think that 1.9 should be released already, Cause 1.8 took a few months for development, and now it's only been about a week after the final product.

I think 1.9 should have been released later on this year, Cause in my opinion it is way too early.

If he's trying to increase the challenge of it, he should add more interesting challenges. While Endermen are awesome in that they can teleport, all you need to do is click over and over. There's no strategizing there at all.

I like the hunger, because it's an interesting challenge that doesn't require you to click over and over. You can strategize, for instance taking short trips on full hunger, long trips with food packed, or eating as you go, etc etc.

And I've been hearing rumors that he'll make it so that you need to press two different keys to inhale and exhale (the Yogscast said this). If this is indeed a planned feature, I will kill someone whose name rhymes with Motch.

Hmm. Damn, that'd be an annoying feature. Hunger is annoying enough as it is (NOTCH, MY MOUNTAIN BASE WON'T SPAWN PIGS.)

Yes i know they are not the most pretty thing in minecraft,but they're quite interesting and funny ^_^.

Minecraft 1.8 doesn't work for me but 1.7.3 does so I'm angry. At least I can play 1.8 or 1.9 at my school for 45min. and they have very new computers so no lag but at home D:.

I think it's because some computers have OpenGL1.2 and Minecraft 1.8 or 1.9 requires OpenGL1.3.

Get Texture pack to make them look anti-ugly.

The default pack looks ugly anyway.

Get Quandary. It's not freakishly obnoxious like the others and it comes in different versions for different seasons of the year.

Default texture pack is not ugly. I dont really like texture packs anymore, but that is a pretty good one though.

That's practically the default with seasons.

I have some reccomended pack in MC general, though, and I'm gonna update it soon.

i think there should be smart mobs which travel in groups of 3-5 and try to flank you. that way you have to know what to do.
