Minecraft 1.1!
Minecraft 1.1 was released today about half an hour ago, so here are the updates;
- Bow Enchantments
- Golden Apple recipe
- New language translations.
- Slightly smoothed color transitions between biomes
- Reduced brewing time to 20 seconds
- Added spawn eggs to creative (the colors of the eggs even look like the mobs)
- Added world type options (currently only super-flat and default)
- Removed collision box from ladders
- Sheep eat grass and regain their wool
What are your thoughts?

I used to play that game but it is so slow on my computer that it got too frustrating to continue playing.

Hope they fixed the terrible bugs too, and I wonder if they made anything useful out of the ender egg..

A lot of the eggs only work in the Nether.

I just also realized that in villages, the buildings with lava pools have chests in them! :O
I think that was added in a previous update, sort of an addition to the 1.0 update. Also, the building with the lava pool is where the Blacksmith "lives", tis called a forge. Just so you know.

all eggs work, make sure you are pointing at the ground, a Ghast you still need to point it at the ground.

Minecraft is one of the most great internet game notch made. Its almost like EE except it 3D, has more better stuffs, challenges, etc...

Oh you can't summon monsters on peaceful I'm so stupid... -.-
I'm loving these monster eggs so far in my flat world. Did you know there were villages on flat worlds? Also, the nether isn't flat.

The only reason I dislike this update is because of how thick-headed people are. They're reluctant to update the server to 1.1 lest their server should break, and god forbid they actually play vanilla minecraft. They force us to downgrade and lose features rather than... forcing them to upgrade and... lose features...
Disregard that, that was kinda hypocritical.
I hate tall signatures.

They ruined the golden apple.
Old: Gold blocks + Apple = Too expensive, and was a "trophy" to players. Restores all hunger points, and 30 secs of regeneration.
New: Gold nuggets + Apple = Too cheap, two hunger points, and 4 seconds of regeneration!? BIG mistake.
I'm wondering how many complaints were sent to Notch...
