I'm not sure, but doesn't North Korea do something very similar to this? It's more exaggerated over there, sure, but still.

It's a pretty big deal with most of the Internet. If it passes, this forum can be taken down, and probably EE too. Almost the entire Internet will go bye bye.

No.. EE and EE.Forumify would be perfectly fine. If you're not from the US, Most websites will run the way they would normally even in it passes for you. But for those that live in the US, Site like Facebook and Youtube would be greatly impacted and File Sharing communities would probably be blocked off from our access.

No.. EE and EE.Forumify would be perfectly fine. If you're not from the US, Most websites will run the way they would normally even in it passes for you. Actually, they would probably send in troops to get everyone that is submitting to this 'piracy', they could demand anything to be shut down, even if it wasn't in the US.

I don't think EE would be targetted directly, mostly because it has original content made by RPGMaster2000, though it does involve Facebook smilies/blocks, so I'm not too sure.

But then again, Facebook probably made them originally, and allows EE to use them, mostly because EE is playable on Facebook.

The EE Forums would have to take down any infringing copyright, think of the meme that D-rock posted, or EE Forums would be shut down.

Wow, I thought that we would have been done after the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. There's way too much opposition to these acts at the moment, so I figure they'll be changed dramatically or just stopped entirely. This would ruin the internet for me.

To put it this way guys, a lot of us here will all be in jail, and EE will die out.

Right now I would be under federal arrest for having Daniel Tosh which is owned by Comedy Central Inc. and also for having Iron Man as my signature which is owned by Marvel Inc.

Probably abouy 5-10 years in Prison FOR HAVING A PICTURE. Ridiculous, right?
