My favorite video game ending ever was Chrono Trigger. I'm surprised that it didn't make it.

I would have removed more than half of those games, some of the most epic endings existed in the NES era. Metroid, Shadowgate, Guardian Legend, too name a few and then we have all the other consoles who have better endings to their games. I dissaprove of this list.

I didn't even realise that all those first person shooters actually had things considered endings. Same with Oblivion. I agree with both Portals and PKMN BW, though...

(Katawa Shoujo should be on there x5, though, despite the fact that it's a visual novel and indie and free.)

They missed out on such games as Zelda a link to the past as well.. And Oblivion has no real ending... Resident evil 1 and some Silent hill endings aren't there either.. A part of me has died today.

How is only TWO zelda games up there!? Why is Pokemon Black and White even on that list? Ocarina of time should be #1. Why is *insert every other game on this list* even on that list? *disappointment*

They weren't putting the games on the list on how good they were, necessarily. Since they took a poll, it really came down to which game series had the greatest number of fanboys.

Seriously. This has Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros. Wii yet it doesn't have Windwaker or Kirby SSU. It doesn't even have The Adventures of Thuggish Prune!!! Who couldn't love the part at the end when he saves, then brutally beats to death, Princess Mobon?

Well since im not sure what you mean by endings, Zelda: Links Awakining has a twist ending, Pokemon Emerald has a cool Credits screen and Metroid The Other M has a kinda of sad ending.
Not sure if these contribute or not?

My favorite ending was a game that when you won screen turned black and red writting came up. It said "Game complete! Now **** off!"
Can't remember what the game was called though.

KHII sould be closer to the no 1 spot.

Black Ops? Seriously. Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. There are so many games with amazing endings and they come up with that? What comes to mind for me is (in no particular order:)
Call of Juarez
Sonic 2
Ocarina of Time
Wind Waker
Majora's Mask
Kingdom Hearts
Kingdom Hearts 2
Mass Effect 1
Mass Effect 2
GTA San Andreas

Hitman: Blood Money

I'm sure there are more. But most of these aren't even on that terrible list :/
Now I'm gonna listen to that Sonic 2 ending and get me some goosebumps.

This isn't fair! 49 of these games were made in 2008-2012! what about games from the early 2000's? What about the first Halo's ending? what about Metal Gear Solid's ending? What didn't any of those games exist? or am I from an alternate dimension? What about ALL THE OTHER GAMES?! I mean seriously!

I'm surprised that any Mario game in there made it, they usually don't have the best of endings...(Mario Galaxy 2 I guess is OK.)

But seriously, if I could choose, 60% of that list would change and atleast 30% wouldn't even be on there.

Oblivion doesn't even have a technical ending, and the ending to the main quest wasn't even that great.

Black Ops didn't have a good ending at all, I think that LBP1 had a better ending than Black Ops, in-fact why isn't LBP1 on the list, although Saints Row: The Third had a great ending also.

Where's Professor Layton and the Unwound Future?!? It's the only video game ending where I've actually cried(they were man tears). It won't make much sense unless you play the game.
