Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Yes it is.

Atheism- Disbelief in or denial of the existence of God or gods.
Religion- Belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the Universe
Not the same thing.
You're also missing Pagan.
There's a lot of religions that can be considered Pagan. Pagan is just a collective name for such Religions as Wicca, Druidism and more. Then there are a lot of Neo-pagan religions as well.

No, a religion is a belief about supernatural powers. Let me get the definition from Wikipedia...
Religion is a collection of cultural systems, belief systems, and worldviews that establishes symbols that relate humanity to spirituality and, sometimes, to moral values.[1] Many religions have narratives, symbols, traditions and sacred histories that are intended to give meaning to life or to explain the origin of life or the universe. They tend to derive morality, ethics, religious laws or a preferred lifestyle from their ideas about the cosmos and human nature.
Nothing in there seems to state it has to have a deity, just that "many" do.
Everything in that paragraph that is definite (Does not include something like "many") all describe Atheism as much as anything else. Now, some of that first sentence may not seem to fit, however, it does, just some of it is the lack of. ("Relate humanity to spirituality": No link because there is no spirit; Thus fits)
Besides, by your definition of Religion, the first sect of Buddhism is not a religion, as they do not believe in a god or creator. Now, they do have Karma and the other stuff that I can't remember the names of, (one starts with a "b'", I think, XD.) however, they still do not fit your definition.
I will just say this in stead of Orton. Don't start an argument or a debate in this topic. The topic name clearly states that he doesn't want that to happen. So just stop it.
Quit the debate, keep it to PMs or make your own debate thread.
No warnings were given out, but I was gladly give them out after this post.
I'm sort of light Shinto.
By light i mean, you know how some people say they are christian's but don't go to church or anything like that.
Simulist sounds the most believeable, but I'm staying atheist until we get definite proof in something.
Non-denominationalism.
Christianity.

Why aren't catholicism and christianity not in the same category? If your going to do that, then you have to include every single sect, from the religion, and others. Just sayin'.
