In my opinion, true songs are the ones that either have no lyrics but make you feel things, like poetry but without the words, or music with lyrics that have amazing meaning and are not just a topic that's been sung about for a century.

I personally think those lyrics are better no matter what. Original with a rock beat and it's fantastic.

I used Rise Against because it's what I listen to a lot and easy to compare.   There are many more with great lyrics and a great beat as well.

I have no opinion on him, thhough I do not like his music, and I had only found out about him/his music about half a year after most people. Anyone who hates him, probably don't just hate him, but anyone like him.

Dude... Its just an opinion. Everyone has a different one and there are more people who dislike him than like him.

Remember that most of Justin's fans are females because of what he sings about and his appearance, not because of his age. Intact, his age has nothing to do with this, either puberty. It is because of what he sings about and what fans he is targeting. Guys hate his music not because of jealousy, but it's because he is taking up a lot of the media's attention from the music and filming industries, and it has gotten to the part in which it is annoying. Unless you are homosexual or a female, it is understandable to like his music.

One Direction is gonna be like the next Jonas Brothers.

Anyone that has actual taste in music knows that Justin Bieber's music is annoying and lacking any true talent.
The "songs" are basically just it trying to sing after it has gotten its scrotum kicked a good hundred times.

In the nicest way possible, I do not appreciate what contributions Justin Bieber has made to this world, but being a person who personally despises pop music of any kind (with the exception of a song from the 70's) who am I to judge?

And as a side note, women only liked him because of his appearance I say "likED" because I -while watching a show on the telly-   heard that in 20something when Bieber cut his hair from bowl to whatever the hell you call his hair style his Twitter page suffered 80,000 followers, it's funny just how shallow people are these days

and as a warning to Bieber, your fame won't last forever, and if I'm correct not even till the end of this year, you will just end up like The Jonas Brothers, washed up, in the dirt, forgotten     by the start of 2013 pop music will have a brand new face and when you ask an ex-die hard fan of yours about you they'll say "Who?" or "Justin what?" so enjoy the last few months of your fame, because soon, you too will be consumed by the musical food chain.

That was Crying Lightning by the Arctic Monkeys.   A perfect example of when repetition can be used to make it into poetry.   If you listen to the song, you can hear that Turner sings it in a way to make it sound different each time.   Now look at this.

The main problem with the beliebers is that they actually believe in the illusion that Justin Bieber's music is good. When they're watching one of his music videos, they're probably hardly even listening to the music at all. They just like his looks, think he's "cute". I have no idea how he can be attractive to females.

Anyone with a pretty face and (for boys) swishy hair or (for girls) fake boobs can be a "singer". Tack on a generic tune with a chorus centering around one word or theme (such as "baby") and you've got yourself a modern idol!

Yes, there are quality musicians out there, but you have to look pretty hard and get past the mainstream crap first.

And yes, troll account/troll thread (maybe) but it sparked a discussion so w/e.
