Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Yes, I know, crazy, right? Well for the first time ever, I decided to indulge in a popular online game. Why? Because I saw an awesome music video/parody made through it, and wanted to see hat it was like. That's right, I FINALLY TRIED MINECRAFT!
The game's not particularly fun, but it's extremely addicting. I found my EE addiction waning.
Thing is, I got the xbox version. I didn't know what it would be like, the PC version would probably kill my crappy computer, I had all these extra Microsoft points, and it's so much cheaper, anyway.
Now, the point of this topic is to figure out one thing: What's it missing from the PC version? I want you guys to convince me to get it. I'd prefer to hear from people who actually own both versions, but speculation's okay.
I tried researching the differences, but the wiki's are frustratingly cryptic.
Out of curiosity, let's say I bought the PC version on a computer, but wanted to transfer it to a laptop. Would I have to pay again, and would I lose my progress?
Well, I can just give the all of the update information from 1.6.6+ since Xbox currently uses 1.6.6.
Want it?
Let's just say the Xbox Edition is Beta 1.6.6, and the PC uses (Not beta) 1.2.5. You would get a crapload of new stuff not on the 360.
The thing about laptop/pc, pretty sure you could just login on minecraft.net and download the game on the different system without buying it twice.

That's exactly what I need, but couldn't seem to find. It'll also help fill in the gaps, like what I heard you can do on the pc version but can't seem to do myself. Pretty please?

Good. That means getting it is actually an option.
I assume you can't transfer between xbox/pc, right?
Things that are in the PC version:
A hunger bar.
You can sprint
You can stack food.
There is beef.
There are ravines.

You can trade with NPC's.
There are glass panes.
There are different types of planks.
There are snow golems.
There are iron golems.
You can enchant weapons.
There is an enchantment table.
Pork has a different texture.
There is a swamp biome.
There is a plains biome.
There is a snow biome.
There is a jungle biome.
There are endermen.
There are ender pearls.
There are eye of enders.
There are strongholds.
There is an end biome
There is a ton more stuff.

Just transfer your .minecraft folder over and they'd be exactly the same.
I hate tall signatures.

Actually Minecraft's extremely fun when you are playing multiplayer, not single player. Yes, this is one of the main reasons why I've been missing for months. <3 Evil Grin.

Of course Multiplayer is more fun, but Single player is not bad either.
DON'T GET IT! ALL THE UPDATES WILL COME EVENTUALLY!

If you hesitate, the price will just keep increasing. If you get it now you'll never have to worry about buying it again. 1smile1
Suggestion? Get it. You get ALL of the features rather than just being stuck on cracked servers and singleplayer.
Get it on the pc. Major features imo:
Structures:
-NPC villages
-Abandoned mineshafts
-Strongholds
-Nether fortresses
The end
Endermen
Hunger bar (adds extra challenge)
Mods
Texture Packs
Player made maps
Enchantments
Brewing
Experience
New updates should come out on the PC sooner than the xbox. I've never tried the xbox version; it might be good. I think it flows great on the PC. My computer isn't very good, so I play on small/tiny render distance and it works fine.

That didn't even make sense in response to my post.
"The Xbox Updates will come"
"The PC version price will rise"

Oh I think it's pretty good, but it would probably be pointless for someone with the pc version to get it.
So anyway, I'll probably get it eventually. However, current circumstances make it hard for me to get much use out of it for a while, and so I'm debating whether I should get it now and barely play, or get it later and have a serious addiction.
You should've tried Minecraft a long time ago.
I bought it. c:
Yea. Me too. I want to try minecraft too! Problem is...I can't pay $25 for it!!! So I can't play!!!!!!!
I don't really like Minecraft, but all my friends are playing it and are begging me to play with them. I always say no, telling them that's it's sunny outside.
