Any ideas on this?

So I was on the bus home and this man started talking to me, out conversation started out normal but once I had mentioned my interest in science he started claiming to be an immortal.

It was curious, he used the word "us" to refer to other immortals existing and the classic use of the word "humans" instead of people. He also said Earth had sectors while talking about invisible black holes on the planet as well as claiming to come and go from somewhere else in the universe to Earth and back.

I decided to mention this photo. (For whose who don't understand its supposed to be a photo taken in the past containing what appears to be a man in modern clothing rather than olden day clothes)
Unsurprisingly he claimed it was "us" aka an immortal.

By the time I was getting close to my bus stop he said how we would be capable of leaving Earth around 2050 and how supposed immortals have been leaving key clues to evolution around the planet.

Sooo... Any ideas on what he was on about? :s My first conclusion would be that he was delusional.

I'm sure if you were him and told people that, other people wouldn't believe you. You shouldn't assume he's nuts so quickly. I've owned an alternate world before, and I can say that it's hard to get people to believe that stuff.

I am an immortal and I can confirm this. We weren't supposed to reveal this secret until 2023 but I can see why he spread it out since the secret has already leaked.
