Chat on the side as Guest

Ok. Log in with an account who has chat. Go in a locked world, goto lobby and logout. Login as guest now and go in an open world. Then you'll see a chat bar.

OHMIGOSH, THIS IS A REAL HUGE BUG!
Because people who have access to an account with chat/beta are going to log out and play as a guest. I realize that it needs to be fixed (eventually), but it isn't deserving of any immediate attention, and this time would be better spent fixing real bugs or making new gameplay items.

That bug should be fixed for chatters, although I don't actually have a chat! XD

A big bug. You can't chat, but if my sister logs in as a guest and someone happened to be spamming swear words or other stuff in the world she enters that could be bad :/

Which is why as has been said many times a swear filter needs to be put on it and then chat should be activated for all users. I really see no issue in why this can't be done.

I'm getting fed up of seeing other members chatting and i don't know what is being said.... and i equally dislike the rooms 'you must have chat or you get kicked'. EE is slowly alienating players who don't have access to main features within the game. At least let us see what is being written if we aren't allowed to chat.....

You are only able to see the chat in the level you were in before you logged out, you can't chat anymore. Its just a static picture of the chat. It stays the same in every level you join.
But it is distracting

I don't see why that matters. It only shows up if you are a chatter..... so nothing new.. right?

yes but lets say you have two kids in one family, both play, the 16 year old brother gets chat, while the 8 year old sister doesnt, the brother just logged off, now his sister goes to log on, the sister notices that she can see the chat, she starts reading but someone is spamming swear words racist comments etc. in the world she is in. NOW do you see the problem?!?!?!?!

Okay, but I'm okay with this. If you're worried about someone seeing this, try and find a way around it. There are much bigger problems to be solved, and Chris has already got enough on his plate.

Me 2 i am never going to get chat unless of reasons but back to topic this is a big bug for people with chat

Oh yeah. That happened to me many times. Except you can't chat and you can't see any new chat.
