Who would make a good mod?

Anyway, I don't see the point of appointing new in-game mods. What do they even do?

A well-known mass murder who tortures his victims for weeks just got out of jail. When he was a criminal his victims were always completely random. He stops by your house and asks for a place to stay for a few days. What do you do? Do you judge him by his past and say get out of here or I'll call the cops? Or do you let him in and get duct taped to a chair waiting for something extremely painful to happen to you?

I've been foruming for the last 5 years of my life, and I have never ever received even one warning. It's not that hard. You'd have to be a fool to get a warning. How do you like them apples?

so i got 4 warnings. big deal. it was mostly for spam anyways. i dont spam anymore (well... not on this forum). my other warning was because i accused chewy of stalking me. if you were in my situation, you would probably call him a stalker too.

I wonder if Bee would accept the responsibility as a mod. And no brawler, I wasn't asking to become a mod, I said I want to be one if the admins ever think of bringing a new one to the team. I didn't say, "omg i vote for myself cuz i wanna be a modd. can i be a mod plz?"

I honestly have no more ideas for who could be a mod. To me, it seems like there are plenty of people like BillyP and SmittyW, tako, chimi, etc.. I don't see how one is more qualified than another.

I would still take into consideration that he could've changed, but to that extent there's a good chance that he's still the same. It's all depending on the situation.

[EDIT] This isn't off-topic, btw. We're discussing whether or not a person's past should effect if he/she becomes a mod or not.

I was going to be a chat mod, apparently, and cyclone was like "bee want a halfop?" and I was like "whats a halfop" and he was like "lol nvm" =P

As for who should be a forum mod, it honestly should be Nou, but only if he were appointed straight to admin as Im not sure how well he would do as a "half-mod". He tends to have a presence in more than just posting, which apparently is only what the admins on these forums care about.

Chat mod should be Billyp
