Well, Magic Dropping is a popular subject these days, so i decided to post some ideas about it.
1. TF2-like. The system doesn't define if your coin is magic, it defines WHEN you get the next one.
2. The system assings a number of magic coins to a player. When player gets one, number decreases. The system randoms the next player who'll get a coin. People with higher number have more chance.

3. Every time you get a coin the system checks if it's magic and gives you a better chance next time(It can be easily abused)
