I noticed that if you tap spacebar rather than hold spacebar, the results are the same. (eg. in meatboy, holding space grants jumping higher than tapping space)

This would probably require some re-writing and stuff, and it's not extremely necessary. It would also kill lots of challenges that have gravity and stuff put so you can't jump, or you'll be thrown back.

I Dont think its a good idea, this is EE not meatboy meatboy is about walljumps and speed, EE is about being creative
But creativity can only go so far.

I have a better idea:
When you're on a sticky brick, which has been said to be in a future update, you do not jump as high.
Same for ice brick.
If you've ever tried to jump on ice or something sticky, you'll know what I'm talking about.

I think he should put the moving platform in the shop by using energy and gems. gems: 100. and Energy: 0/110. Adds you +20 moving platforms. and also springs. Springs helps you launch up when jumped on it. you should be using Energy and gems. Energy: 0/250. Adds you +20 Springs. oh and this Gems: 105. That Should be helpful to use those Items for Fun. :rolleyes:
