The only reason why we have to pay 1 cent is to verify that you are over 18 or your parents want you to chat. This defeats the purpose.

Ok i not saying the 1 Cent to Enable chat is stupid or unacceptable
I just had a slight idea well actually a few ideas for how we could stay safe if the chat was for everyone

- Age Icon -
Now i was thinking if worlds were created like saved worlds and everyone wants to chat
how about this when u save your world it will ask Age requirement to join world?
so look

8-10 Ages - Allow chat but they cannot swear so like a trigger in room so when you create a world u can also put a trigger and enter what words cant be said or what letters

11-14 - Reason for 11 - 14 is because some 15 year olds swear i not saying you all do just saying
so for this allow chat for everyone also has a mute chat button so you can ignore players when they walk like a block icon to block a player so that may be good as a command

15+ This is where loads players will swear and have a laugh and some jokes that are inappropiate also when you sign up to EE it will ask for age group like date of birth so parents won't complain at Chris for the words and foul language

What about a way to mute a single person who is spamming?
Like you click their name and a 'mute' or 'unmute' button will appear so their comments in the chat will not be seen.

the mute idea is good, but there should be an auto-mute to swearers, like if you say s**t or something like that, it automatically mutes that player from younger ones, and an option to muts people, regardless if they swear or not!

And the abbility to turn OFF the bubbles,
not ON when you are moving (the shift key currently)

Keep the shift key to turn on the chat bubbles, but make an in-game button to turn of chat bubbles. Like what about that random empty space on our little control bar at the bottom of the screen? We could put it there.

I figured that we should have one Global chat channel in the lobby and individual chatrooms per level.

A tab in the upper-right corner (for example) could bring up a separate window that allows you to adjust size, pick chat rooms and minimze it back to the corner whenever you wish.

I can come up with illustrations once I get home though.

I like this idea! It's pretty standard and should make most users happy.

No one should get chat free. What about us Chatters that payed 1cent for chat and then Chris puts it out free for everyone? If so. Then we Chatters should get something very special. Something like new bricks? But if Chris doesn't. Then we shall be HAPPY! Well, You should add a friending system. For Chatters actually.
And you should add a thingy that allows you to follow your friends and pm's to them even when your friends are on another world.

I have an idea for chat!!!
Called "Symbol" chat. Once you press the chat button, OR click on the chat box, it'll pop up with a little window (in Everybody Edits, like for example, the box that says like "Invalid Command" or whatever). Then it'll let you select symbols. When you click on a symbol, it'll go down into the chat box. When your done, you press the X button on the window, as always.

If you have a mac computer, you can do this any time. Go to "Edit" on the top of your screen, then on the very bottom of the list, there is a selection called "Special Characters." Click on this to use symbols.

We should be able to just kick someone from a world instead of completely banning them until the world is closed and re-opened.

Actually it's the contrary, you can kick people (with a 5 minutes ban) but you can't really ban them
Unless you're saying that we should be able to kick without that 5 minutes ban.

OHHH I didn't know that it was for 5 minutes.
