Basically what I have made over 2 days.
(Follow the pink line for the play area)
(The Yellow Circles are puzzles, The first 2 are very easy, 3rd is difficult for new players, and the rest are quite hard.)
(Red areas I've covered are areas I wish to make more puzzles)
(Green area I've covered is the area I wish to make more art ("Valve", "Des" etc.))
What I plan to do next.
- Finish the "O" in "pOrtal"
- Finish the 8th Puzzle
- Create a noob area
- Bottom Right Corner, or Top Right Corner create a very detailed slice of cake (It is not a lie)
- ????
What I'm having problems with.
- Creating a NEW platform mini games/puzzles. (I'm sure we're all sick of horizontal jumping puzzles by now -_-)
- Some Art

Very nice map. For the art help. are you trying to find new art to draw, or do you have trouble drawing it?
Looks nice. I once made a map with some portal/momentum puzzles, but people tend to give up too easily with those kind of things.

A better looking button/companion cube. (I had to make them myself ><)
Probably some tweaks on the portal gun. Like instead of a case, a stand.

Give incentive and people will keep trying, things like making the early levels close to the really higher levels. If someone doesn't see anything that will make them interested in carrying on, they wont.
Right now, coins are literally nothing but querky bleep, don't litter your level with them to encourage.
That's about all you need to do to keep players from rage quitting.

I love Portal.
The design is good, but the gameplay sucks.
All maps i have seen that have really "WOW" design, has always been crap to play.
I don't know why, maybe it's only the design that is needed.

Nice and easy level, passed it and made to the flag. What I didn't like is there are coins you can't get that inside squares, and the challenge with the E jumps, so annoying.
Looks really nice, I'll give it a try.
