Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Glad to see you havn't lost this idea with all the other levels you've been doing. Off to play the newest version.
P.S. How many coin doors do you have?

I really liked it

Took me like 3 mins to complete is that bad O-o?
Thanks.
3 minutes sounds about right. It's just a 23x23 playfield, so even when I get all 400-or-so coin blocks in place, play time will be short.3Different55 wrote:coolstorybro.jpg
lol i kno, rite?
Do you plan on making a bigger world out of this?

@Different55 At the moment I'm not planning on it, mostly because of the cost of 10x coin block packs.
23x23 blocks - ~120 coins = ~400 coin doors required to fill the level.
48x48 blocks - ~300 coin blocks = ~2000 coin doors.
I'm not even going to calculate 198x198.
@Echo I just hit 120. I can't attempt a worthwhile update until at least 150.
We're talking at least 5 years to get me up to 2000, unless a benefactor steps forward with massive PayPal dollars so I can buy a truckload of gems. I'm not holding my breath. 1xd1
Now we gotta get portal portals and coin doors.. Sweet combo

Hmm really?
I have 150 coin doors on my other account. You could rough sketch in one of the small/ medium worlds if you'd like.

Aren't you guys forgetting you can't use them in other people's worlds?

I'm sort of asking him to tell me what to do. But meh, probably won't work since I'm lazy. I could always just open up a new account and spam coin doors for a few months then give it to someone...

This is very good use of a small world.
cool world i got a magic coin there!
Awesome Idea, I managed to go straight from the 29th coin to the 30th over the gap!
Thank you eleizibeth ^

New update.
Current Stats:
39 coins
144 coin blocks
The middle of the playfield is evolving into the final vision: absolutely no empty blocks when you enter the level. Development is now very sluggish. The spreadsheet method saves loads of time, but it's still a pain in the URGHSS.
^^ Halfway done updating the live map, so some of the numbers don't match. (Not final version)
VV The spreadsheet planning tool in preview with 32 coins, matching the live game. (Final version)
I have 170 coin blocks to work with, but the next update will be some time after 200.
this is AWESOME! keep coming back to check
OMG this topic nevar dies. It was old when I saw it first.
I got stuck, couldn't get anymore coins. so had to quit

Uh oh. Do you remember the number of coins you had?
Edit:
I found a problem at 19 coins. Fixed.
^ yup I was gonna tell you but I forgot.. It was still possible though
I won. It was pretty easy.
I'm going to have to outright prevent players from picking up coins out of the intended order; picking up coins early makes platforms disappear before they should, and the player can get stuck.
I was hoping to allow crafty players to get coins out of order, but the level design is too tight.
Awesome! It would be cool if there was a competition to see who gets all the coins faster
