I haven't decided how serious my competition piece will be, so until I make that decision, I will give people feedback on their levels.

I will ONLY review levels that post a picture of their level here.

Imgur.com has good quality, just screenshot the minimap and paste it here for me to review.

Pros:
-Get your level reviewed by BEE
-Can edit picture out of you post after feedback

Cons:
-Have to post it on the forums for all to see
-I can stop doing this at any time I wish

No, I am not a judge for the halloween competition as judges get no prizes.

I will be competing, but as of right now, my competition piece is blank. Until/if I start, I will provide feedback on art.

Very beautiful! I am assuming you aren't done, so please feel free to dismiss feedback about something that you already know is unfinished.

First off, your pants need a body ;D

I like the style of the pants on the right, but look closely at the pockets. Are they meant to be completely different shapes? Try to even them out so they look more natural.

The child's hair and cape look really good, are you using reference pictures? I applaud you if you are, it is how artists develop their style.

I am wonderigng about the child's arms and hand. Pick the age you think he should be and google people of that size. His head shape/size implies that he is over 6 years old, but his arms and legs are too small for that age group and would more likely belong to a 2 year old. Make sure your boy can support himself!

I like the man with the green pants, but make sure that his... crotch area has some shading. Unless, of course, you are thinking that light is shining right on him there

The clouds are beautiful, and I like the moon, but unless you look closely, it looks like the moon has chunks missing out of it. Make sure the top rounds off nicely in relation to the clouds.

Overall very nice, just keep going

My 2-bits that BEE touched on:

The moon could be a little bit more circular. This picture helps a ton.

Also, I understand that it's unfinished, but it doesn't really seem Halloween-themed to me. The only Halloween-themed thing would be the pumpkin, and possibly the moon.

Nah, I like it. It is a fall theme so it is fine. And the kid has a costume on.

Though I will say that at first I thought the man was a living scarecrow, and it creeped me out for a bit.... You could do that if you want lol, not too hard to draw straw

I really like the spider web, but it is hard to tell which parts of the web are connected to what. For example, looking at the bottom, there seems to be web just not connected? What is that piece for? does it have a purpose? Also, is that web growing from the ground like plants? =P I think the web is just confusing me so I am guessing it isn't done yet.

The spider is nicely done, but needs a bit more depth. Think about how shading changes a circle into a sphere. There needs to be a point of light and everything needs to slowly get darker from that light source. Also, don't spiders have more than 2 eyes? You might have to google the particular type of spider to see how many eyes it has.

As for the castle, it also needs some depth. Focus first on getting the castle done without the vines or cracks. Again, make a light source and fade away from it. if you can, get a flashlight and paper IRL and see how the shadows play depending on your angle. Also, are you making it a castle or a wall? Most viewpoints of 3D objects are 3D, not 2D. Maybe add some darker colors behind it so you can tell it is a castle that has several dimensions.

Overall looks like you're on the right track, nice job.

I'll just be giving a glimpse of the level for some feedback (mostly advice, though).

The blue is a lake, and the gray is a path. The black in between is going to be rocks, but I can't think of the right color. There's nothing darker than rock-decoration, and to make the rocks brighter than the path seems a little weird. Any advice?

[EDIT] I was just playing around with the shades, and found out that the decoration-umbrella is actually a gray on the minimap, and it's very dark. I switched most of the rock to umbrella, and with a few minor adjustments I made a black path down the middle for minigames. Still not sure about the rocks, though. I could use decoration-rock for the rocks (irony?), but I don't think the contrast is enough to allow people to differentiate the path from the rocks. It'll just look like the path gets darker on the sides.

help :/ the thing in the middle is a haunted mansion, the weird eye is a dragon thats body goes into the mansion, it will also be in chains, i need help with that bit th most, but help me with all of it as well though.
also, what should the actual mansion look like?

i know it looks rubbish but im making art in a way i have never done it in before.
