Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: N & I Tips On What NOT To Do

Annoying World Names = It doesn't matter what the world is named. I join them anyway.
Too Many Coins = Turn your volume down soon as you hear coins, Idiots.
Paths of Dots   = Do this after school, kids!
Elevators = I made a elevator level before. Over 80 people beat it, when there is over 15 levels.
Hookjumps = Don't care about the number of the hook jumps.
Icicle paths = Balance, if you have lag, I don't care.
Drop'n'jumps = Same thing for Icicle paths
Inescapable Traps = Then don't make another mistake. You people have brains right?
Pixel Jumps = If you don't like them, don't use them then. I like beating them anyways
Stairs = The only bad reason of making stairs is making the keys trollable, nothing else.
Sticky Jumps and Arrow Jumps = Same thing for Icicle pats
Tightfits = Maybe just try for once?
Pixel Drops = I will laugh at anyone who can't complete this.
Fake Codes = Doesn't matter unless it has a "escape hole".
Secret Mazes = Same thing for Tightfits
I don't care about any mini-game. as long its beatable. I know you want to -rep me for this. But I dont care.

I hate these. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/mad

They're called suicide coins. They are only annoying if used in the wrong places. A suicide coin in an easy mini like the one you showed is not that annoying, where as a suicide coin which means you have to go all the way back to the start of a very hard mini can be really quite annoying.

Suicide Coins
dadadadaBOOOOOOMMMMMMM.png
Compulsory coins which cause the player to return to the beginning of a mini or level. These are frowned upon if the player must return to the start of an easy mini, but hated if they must return to the start of a difficult mini. Do not use these.

Example of a suicide coin in a hard mini, which would cause the player to ragequit: http://everybodyedits.com/games/PW0NwUpF40bEI
Here we can see that the player must complete the level 4 times to get to the win brick. 3 for the coins, and 1 for the win. Completing this level once is hard enough, so not many people would stay in the level for long.

Re: N & I Tips On What NOT To Do

Hookjumps are my pet hate, especially if you have to do several of them one after the other and then start over if you fall. So frustrating.

Here are a couple more things I dislike:

eeannoy.jpg

Left: When you are going up a ladder and you have to transfer to another ladder one tile across and one tile up. Difficult because when you go to the top of a ladder you bob up and down and you have to time it just right. It's ok in small doses but annoying if you have to do it several times, or if failing to do it sets you back a lot of progress.

Right: You have to pass over a gap with zero jumping space. It looks impossible but it can be done, but it takes so many attempts and seems to be just luck rather than skill to get across. My advice would be don't use this at all.

edit: Here's another type of hookjump:

These are really easy. Just inch up to the top ladder and stop moving. Then, at the same time, go up/down and left/right at the same time, so, in this pic, you would go up and right.

Re: N & I Tips On What NOT To Do

Thank you so much Chimi for placing your guide! we really needed it! MOST of us like it as the creators, but not the players. Giving out fake codes is so annoying. I have gone to 10 or 12 worlds that have fake codes! And I usually leave worlds because of tight fits and stairs and pixel jumps. We really thank you for your guide, and ee forumifiers, this guide was really needed!:D And Aoitenshi!

I love hookjumps! I hate sticky hookjumps, but I wouldn't mind if a user made a large tower of normal ones.

Sticky hookjumps are easier than hookjumps, though.   For arrow ones, hold space and hold the direction of where the wall is for the hookjump.   For dots, hold jump and move left/right like normal.   They are almost automatic hookjumps.

I think those are called "hovers," you can do them if you inch up to them, then as the game tries to adjust you into the gap, you move quickly over it.

Still though, there's a big chance to fail.   I once joined a level with 30 of these in a row. Pretty much impossible.

Re: N & I Tips On What NOT To Do

What about time doors? They can be annyoing too!
People make something called "timed bridge" with lowed roof and you must stay on edge of each timed door.
This can take a lot of time if this bridge is long and its dumb.
