So how are y'all feeling about another rousing game of Mafia? My last game honestly didn't go very well to be honest. Very high power, and I think the setup was scuffed. I aim to not repeat those mistakes.
There's no role modifiers to worry about in this game.
So if you're interested, all I need this time is around 10 players. I can make it work with less, if needed. The setup is going to look something like this, if I get 10 players:

I did screw up a little, but I've got an idea to make it better and also a little less complicated.
*ahem*
Attention all townsfolk; I've just recieved good news and bad news from the commissioner of this town. The good news is, we have more food than we thought! It seems we're on track to keep up with our citizens' hunger needs! We shouldn't be doomed to experiencing famine on Night 3 anymore. It should only occur now if we lose most of our producers, and nothing else can start the famine. Exciting!
Oh, yeah, there is the bad news. The commissioner said that they've identified a Cannibal as a threat amongst the townsfolk. We are working to identify the individual so keep on a lookout. We heavily encourage you all to take initiative, and take steps to remove suspicious folk in your area democratically.
(Basically, famine isn't inevitable anymore, and the Cannibal is now a guaranteed role. Also, there must be at least 1 vote death each day. I will work to reflect these changes in the OP. I did this because I realized that the Mafia did not have enough time to gather resources to survive an inevitable famine, while also struggling to make any kills until Night 4. The new changes means there's a death every day, and Cannibal means there's most likely a kill nightly and it won't be a mafia getting killed. So the game should be semi normal in play until famine hits. If any of you have any suggestions to make it more ideal, please do talk to me. )

Lobsterman being an RNG role is not fun, you're better off making it something deterministic, such as fishing at someone's house and having actions they take/characteristics of who you visited determine what you get, or having it alternate catching fish/lobster, or having a night action to be to poison a fish you caught instead of fishing, etc.
Cookies looks like a badly designed role, the idea is that you want exactly one person from whatever faction is winning to visit you at night? That is very low player agency and not fun to play as.

I also haven't looked too closely at the famine mechanic and how many players it's expected to kill/put in danger compared to food out there, but you should probably run through some simulations of best case / worst case scenario for various factions and see how it goes

The setup would probably have needed way fewer producers and the food would've needed to be more sparse, but the original idea was something I would have loved to host.
Sorry to disappoint
EDIT: Maybe the 3 town producers are fine but then the other guys would probably be best off as Vanilla
and maybe the Neutral Evil didnt need to be a thing either
EDIT: By the way I really don't mind if you take my ideas and use them elsewhere or if you just want to talk shop
