Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Actually, if the vamp, witch, and survivor lynched maf, no one would hold a majority, and a majority could still be formed for a lynch. It would be 1 vamp vs 1 witch vs 1 survivor. Either the vamp and surv wins, or the vamp and witch wins.
Not true. A Vamp, Survivor, and Witch can all win together.
Allow me to clarify. Witches can win with any evil role, but Evil roles cannot win with each other (provided they aren't aligned with eavh other.)
Survivors can win with any player, but, again, Evil roles can't win with each other, and Town also can't win with Evil roles.
A Mafia Goon and an SK cannot win with each other. If those two roles were left with a Witch or a Survivor in the game, neither the Goon nor the SK have won yet, so the Witch can't win yet, either. At that point, either the Goon and SK vote each other and the Witch decides, or the Witch itself gets voted out and the game ends in a Stalemate.
A Survivor does not prevent the Mafia from reaching a majority against town, but it can still win with town, so the game does not end there.
Similarly, a Witch does not prevent the Mafia from reaching a majority against town either. Properly speaking, the town can be a good liar and convince the Witch to vote for the Mafia, so the game doesn't quite end there either.
These scenarios all assume there's only one evil faction remaining.

Once again, I'm late. I apologize.
With 3 votes from AllenCaspe9510, Excoluss, and 2B55B5G TNG constituting a majority, Jawapa is lynched.
Night Time begins. Please do your night time actions.

Game will inevitably end. After some discussion with certain players about their planned actions, I've decided to end the game.
Vampires and Witch win! (2B55B5G TNG, Excoluss, AllenCaspe9510,
and 32OrtonEdge32dh.
Setup and extraneous information will be posted relatively soon. I will be publishing all whispers, however that part will take a lot longer to complete.
I'll also be declaring the Phoenixborn (MVP) soon, as well.

I will need some time to collect all the whispers.
As for this game's MVP, I'm going to have to declare 2B55B5G TNG this game's Phoenixborn. One reason why I'm giving this to 2B is for their sheer resiliency. 2B legitimately did not have a single Vampire teammate until the final night; the first two bites had too high of a defense, and the third bite died. As I've learned lately, 2B also almost visited Kkay on Night 2, when Kkay stayed home. The double fake-claims really did not help at all, either. Despite all of this, 2B still managed to come back really strong at the end of the game.
I realize this is probably a contentious decision, given many people would like to have given it to Orton. I would've given it to Orton if 2B died.
Huge shoutouts to 32OrtonEdge32dh for getting outed Day 2 and surviving to the end somehow, for wrecking Task's **** by controlling his stake on someone else for two nights in a row, and for making life difficult for himself by making Allen a Monster Slayer; to MrJawapa for doing his absolute damnedest to pull off a W for Mafia despite losing Milk Man Day 1; and also to Buzzer/Theoldinese/Norboy/ShadowsEdge for getting absolutely destroyed Night 1.

As critical as i was, i still want to thank you for hosting this game and bringing life to the forum Mini.
You're in your right, also I'm doin' my best. Good luck with the Championships!

I could host one more, but Idk if someone else would like to host instead. I don't want to deny them that chance, especially when I hosted the last 2 (even if these forums aren't very lively otherwise).
(I can guarantee the next game would be way less hectic

The whispering mechanic thing was a clunky attempt for sure. I chose to do it the way it was in the game to ensure there would be no cheating, and to ensure that the players were doing it properly. If you have ideas, let me know

How aboit limiting it to one whisper per day?
Then it would maybe be tolerable.
That's not the problem; spectators aren't even meant to view whispers.

Then it would maybe be tolerable.I also thought one whisper per day would work.
It forces people to use it in more tactfully, and keeps the entire game from being played in the shadows.
The entirety of Town of Salem is played like this.
I don't really understand. On one hand, people complain that the game ends up becoming follow-the-cop way too often. The whisper system solves that by allowing you (the non-cop) to do your own sleuthing around, but for some reason you find it irksome, or annoying. Why?
add blackmailer maybe
its a ToS mafia role that can see all whispers of all players
That is gonna 100% make it way harder for me

well, maybe to nerf the blackmailer and make it a bit simpler for yourself, you could group all of the whispers that have been sent during the day and PM the blackmailer once the night starts
)))))
Forum mafia and ToS aren't really comparable. It's been a long time since I've played ToS, but I don't recall whispers being used for anything meaningful very often. Also, ToS is a very fast game compared to forum mafia.
I've been playing a Town of Salem-like game on discord. It's also very fast (5 minute day phases) and whispers tend to be used very often for something very meaningful, whether it be town doing sleuthing to find the evil role, the evil roles doing their best to spread misinfo and subterfuge, and neutral roles making deals to fulfill their win conditions.
However, allowing the entire game to be played in whispers made it... too easy?
For which side?
The Vampire team effectively gained nothing from it as 2B publicly claimed to be a Vampire the day after Exco was bit, and 2B didn't have any teammates until the last day, in which case they could just use the PT.
The other factions wound up getting **** over largely (not completely, but largely) because of things they said in whispers, or from things they didn't say in whispers (i.e Onjit could've offered to team up with Orton and change targets, or even just tell someone he was going to lie about being cop)
The Witch had a great time, but then again, the Witch by itself is a really powerful role.
Do quicktopics for whipsers. Links are sent to the recipient and to you, and then you forward them to the blackmailer.
I don't really feel like making 14! whole quick-topics, that's probably even worse.

That's not how it would work anyway. You didn't create the PM threads this game. The players would the quicktopics, then send a link to you and the person they're whispering to. Then you give that link to the blackmailer. Also makes it way easier to publicize the whispers after the end of the game, or publicize them in the dead/spectator chat cause all you have to do is post the links.
I suppose that's fair enough, good point
