Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I can't wait for the game to end so I can hear Norwegianboy and Jawapa complain about how much everyone sucks, again.

Well, looks like I know who I'm going to investigate on the first two nights.
Haha, jk...
Unless..?

That actually is not a bad idea. If everyone writes fake reads, then if the real cop dies, we can use what they've said while they were alive.
All right, I'm game. I am a cop.

Why cant we do both, Norwegianboy? Why dont we hunt for scum while covering for the cop?

It's also real LAMIST (Look at me i'm so town!) opportunity for scum to go: "Yeah! What a great idea! I'm claiming cop guys!". Which is exactly what i did in Yandere mafia when Crybaby proposed that plan to claim and then lynch a Senpai and i pretended to be super enthusiastic about it. And i won the game because i kept pointing to the fact that i went along with what people thought were a pro-town strategy but which really just served as a great source of deception.
You've yet to point out why the strategy itself is bad. I think it may be a LAMIST move, too, but I still think the idea Pqwerty proposed is a good one. Surely allowing the cop to freely disclose reads is ultimately only beneficial for the town. If you don't want to trust me, that's fair, but I still think we should try this.

So you are indirectly saying that you think your own recent posts are suspicious...?
Don't get me wrong here, I said it *could* be a LAMIST move.
What pqwerty said could be a LAMIST move, but that doesn't make him automatically suspicious for suggesting it, because what he said could also be genuine.

Oh, we've entered the wall of text phase of the game. Great.
I've been researching the hypo strategy more (and by that I mean I read two mafiascum topics) as well as reading through Shadow and Pqwerty's debate to get a better idea of how good of a strategy this is. Ultimately I still think it can work, because the mafia can't just snipe someone who's on the right track as they're never sure of whether that someone is just bluffing. It'd look mighty suspicious if they only killed the people who are correct, so they'd have to kill off other people to try and throw us off. But considering the general unwillingness for most people to go along with it, it lowers the probability of a non-cop correctly guessing on the first couple of nights, making it no longer as viable.
Ultimately, Norboy rubs me the wrong way. Even though he fought against the hypo strategy, I considered his replies to my interrogation perfectly reasonable and even town-like. But I feel like Norwegianboy should know better than trying to form a townblock so early in the game, when information is scarce and unreliable. The way I see it, the earlier a townblock is formed, the more likely it is scum had created it, and because the bonds which tied the players together are weaker (thanks to having rushed the formation of said townblock), the bonds are more easily shattered as well.
I consider Pqwerty and Onjit to be town, as well. I think pqwerty is putting in too much effort for this to be a LAMIST strategy, and onjit seems to be his usual cool yet reasonable self. And the fact that they're likely town makes Norboy's attempt to group them with himself all the more sketchy.

It's sketchy for me to ask my townreads to vote someone i don't townread? How so?
I've already told you. Trying to townblock so early in the game is, in general, more beneficial to scum, and you should know better than to try a tactic like that. You and onjit may trust each other now, but you both have very little information to base that trust off of. Connections as frail as that easily break apart if you two find you aren't as compatible as this one situation made you think you were. Trying to form a townblock later in the game, when you've had far more time to interact with someone, is far more logical, no?

Even though I myself townread pqwerty and onjit, I don't trust them that much yet, since holding up a facade is far easier early on in the game, and for all I know, it could all be a ploy.

The best way to organize blocks as town is to not try and form blocks.
There's nothing inherently wrong with townblocking, but effective townblocks form organically. So when I say you should not try and form blocks, I mean you shouldn't create one artificially. Townblocks should form when they form. And when it does form this way, it'll most likely be without the influence of scum and be harder for scum to break up, because, the slower it is to infiltrate a townblock, the harder it becomes for scum to slip in and disrupt things.
Think of a townblock like a relationship. If you go in only having known the person for a day, you're far more likely to have that friendship/relationship fail, simply because you learn that you're not nearly as compatible as that initial common factor would suggest you were. The same concept applies to blocks. The earlier they form, the more frequently they fall.
Thus, as scum, a good strategy would be asking to form a townblock. The earlier a townblock forms, the easier it is to dismantle, infiltrate, or otherwise influence later on.

While what you're doing might be genuine, as I've said before, it's a strategy that would benefit the scum to propose.

Wouldn't the town notice if they were being fake?
Hypothesizing that someone is scum is far less likely to happen on day one than, say, day four, which is exactly why asking for a townblock so early is detrimental. Facades are easier to keep up in the early game, after all.

I've said more than enough. There's no way I'm gonna convince you that you're scum, so I'm leaving it at that and letting everyone else decide what to make of this conversation.

Yeah that's what I meant. You can't convince a townie they're scum, because they're not, and you can't convince scum they're scum, because they already know.

I concur, the particularly quiet people should voice their opinions on everything that has happened so far.
Gabriel in particular needs to say something for once, as his only two posts here are literally worthless in terms of getting a read off of him.
@Gabriel, whats your opinion on the argument norboy and i had earlier today?

I also wanna note that for the next few days I am going to be busy with final examinations. They shouldn't take up too much of my time, so I should still be pretty active, but if i have periods of unavailability, that will likely be the reason as to why.

I really can't tell if Andy is scum or just a really nooby town player. His general tone and demeanor and the laughing emoji spam make me feel that he's scum, but he's reaching conclusions which, while I think are very false or fallacious (don't even start, @task), I can understand how he arrived at them, such as encouraging not lynching on the first day.
In the end, I don't think lynching Andy is a bad idea, I'd rather hear more of him before going with it. Besides, Andy's actually contributing to the conversation for once, which is more than some other individuals can say to have done:

He seriously needs to say something already. The same goes for Allencaspe. Share your opinions, reads, literally anything of substance will do. Don't tell me you guys just joined a mafia game to sit around and do nothing.
