Like normal music zones, except you can create and upload your own music.

Yes, currently there isn't. But we will be getting normal music zones for EEU. It is confirmed, so my suggestion is that they should be able to play custom music.

It's been confirmed many times that, unfortunately, we won't be able to have custom music in EE due to legal reasons.

Well, custom music WILL be a thing. Xeno said he'll be open to suggestions for people to put into the game if they wish. Only, they have to verify that the music they're giving to the game isn't copyrighted, like you said, for legal reasons.

The community can submit music into the game, but Xeno also said there will be something of a "Music Staff" who is solely responsible for the majority of the music in the game.

So i have to verify every single random obscure song i find on the wildest reaches of the world for potential copyright infringement everytime i want to add my themes to my level sections.
Just make me music staff Xeno. Pleaaseee.

Edit: How about copyright filters used by websites such as Youtube which automatically flags songs that are copyrighted by whoever doesn’t like revenue from free advertisement?

Alright but what's considered copyrighted music. If I make some Pokemon pixel art, the character is copyrighted, but I made the art of that, so (in the united states) it's under me. So does this mean I can use a Pokemon Remaster if it doesn't contain the original music at all.

Or are we talking about having dumb royalty free music. Because if that's the case I'd rather just have music blocks instead of zones. At least with blocks we can put in whatever we want.

That's not how most companies see things. EE would have to implement its own Content ID and copyright system or get sued into the ground, especially with how things are looking in Europe right now.
