2018 - A Reflection on what's passed

2018 has been an incredible year! Generally, things have been looking up for Everybody Edits for the majority of the year, with players increasing from around 800-900 daily unique players back in March, all the way up to 1600-1700 daily unique players in December! I've been hearing many people say they've been returning after many years without having realised that Everybody Edits has changed so much, and yet almost all of them seem to be pleasantly surprised with the updates made.

Here's a list of pretty much all the main updates that happened in 2018:

• January - Winter Pack, Frozen Smiley, and Snowflake Aura.

• February - Masquerade Smiley, and Video Game Campaign. Also, the Polar Bear smiley came in.

• April - NPCs, Video Game 2 Campaign, Puzzle Pack 2 Campaign, and Garden Pack.

• May - More NPCs

• June - Starfish NPC, Baseball Cap & Golfer Smileys, and Sci-Fi Pack Expansion.

• July 4th - Fireworks!

• July - Silver Crown Doors & Gates, Low Jump, World Portal Spawn Points, Candy Pack Expansion, Technology Campaign, and Altered Reality Campaign.

• August - Minimap Activation Block & Everybody Edits Merchandise & Return of Fanboys. Trial & Terror Campaign also came out with Dragon Smileys, and the Toxic Pack, Slow & Poison Effects were released nearer the end of August.

• September - New Auras

• October - Dungeon Pack, new Halloween Smileys, Zombie NPC, and New Faceplates.

• October 31st - New Halloween Campaign, with Ghost NPC and Shadow Pack.

• November - Key Binding, and the Elementary Campaign Pack with Golem Smiley, Astronaut NPC, and Galaxy Aura.

• December - Christmas Updates, and finishing with the Lobby Overhaul, Optimization, Scavenger Hunt, and Campaign Time Trials!

It feels at this stage like NPCs have been in the game for years, and fit in so well, even though they only came in during April, and as I sit here in my Everybody Edits Globe T-shirt, I can say with certainty that, regardless of any difficulties along the way, this has been one of the best years of my life.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey to bring Everybody Edits back from the brink of extinction, and gratitude especially goes out to all of the wonderful Patrons who have been epic in their conversations, contributions, suggestions, feedback, events, creations, understanding, and encouragement. We couldn't have done this without you!
