When EE goes Offline :@

Ipwner's idea would be great for a memorable back up plan when EE shuts down.

Replace everybodyedits.com with a link to a downloadable 1-2 player offline client that has a database of all EE levels previously created and has a few search features like profile names, world names, etc. in addition to a repository of all the code behind EE's features, slap a "RIP EE YOU HAD A GOOD LIFE" at the top of the page, and maybe we can move on with our lives with the knowledge that thousands upon thousands of hours were ever so technically not wasted, due to the fact that all our levels still ever so technically could be accessed and played by anyone. Yeh? ^_O

Would anyone be willing to create such a program?

There's not really an overlap of people who are good at programming and people who like this game enough to think it should be archived. Except capasha, maybe.

You really just need to explain yourself more, rather than just writing some cryptic post that you need to think about to work out what you mean. (The last one might have just been a language thing, I think you meant "This will happen some time.", 'once' being some time in the past, not future)
