...Really? Can't we just put this rotting horse to death already? e_e Yes, EE gave us that "high" long ago, since that day we first snorted it's creative liberation and up until it's climax in mid-2011! But ever since then this "high" has only had depraving effects, just look at us a year ago: smoking the ashy hair of scandinavian children a la NVD over the embers of a red sci-fi block in order to "achieve" this state. Now what, we're going to try to achieve this "high" by smackling and slurping the fingernails off of a bootleg ""developer""'s oily scalp, toe by toe, with our sticky, milky lips? o-o A dead, crinkly (ツ) smile temporarily caked upon our liquefying lips, as those black pieces of EP that get stuck underneath toenails GUCHI-GUCHI-GUCHI their way down our throats?

Summa Cum Laude, dare I say in this land of bears and bran, dare I say... can we just let... it... go?

My suggested plan of action:
Replace everybodyedits.com with a link to a downloadable 1-2 player offline client that has a database of all EE levels previously created and has a few search features like profile names, world names, etc. in addition to a repository of all the code behind EE's features, slap a "RIP EE YOU HAD A GOOD LIFE" at the top of the page, and maybe we can move on with our lives with the knowledge that thousands upon thousands of hours were ever so technically not wasted, due to the fact that all our levels still ever so technically could be accessed and played by anyone. Yeh? ^_O

I'm sure you think your metaphor sounded clever, but that first paragraph is so abstract that it's lost all relevant meaning.

I've always really liked the idea of Everybody Edits. When I first joined, I was at awe think of the potential for the game. It would be a shame to let it go, but we may just have to do that if all our attempts to save it fail. That said, if you insist that this game is going on too long, you can always leave.

I do like your idea of having a downloadable client though. I would like to see that happen when the game dies.

No need to say put EE down at this point. Things are finally looking up! I have high hopes for what is in store for the community, and plan on seeing a great increase in progress made toward Unity or a reboot.

EE is cocaine...
It gave us that "high" when we started playing it. After some time the intensity of the high got weaker, but we kept on playing...
Now it doesn't feel good at all, but we can't stop because we are addicted. We keep coming back to smoke on EE's schlongous crackpipe. Now we are all just some outcast creeper group on the edge of society with mental issues, no friends, sitting naked and alone on the bathroom floor huffing and puffing EE's pipe and injecting it's used syringes, desperately hoping for the "fun" to return, longing for those glory days it gave us. Deep inside just wishing for EE and our life to end...

This argument is poorly thought out, just read it. You tried to create a valid point to say my thoughts were invalid. Sadly though you didn't try to write this properly. If you think ee should die just leave, If you hating why are you talkin? That phrase rings when I hear this garbage.
