How do you make minimap transparent?

Like in this level:

You need to buy the "fully black blocks" in the shop.
I don't know if they are beta-only

I think the transparent blocks are a good idea, except its kinds hard to tell how big the world is since it appears to be counted as a basic block. but in the end it doesn't matter. It'd be funny if someone made a 100x100 world look like a 25x25 or something like that.
