Smilies: off help

I would like the forum to display smilies, but at the bottom it says 'smilies: off'. I have gone into account settings, and it says smilies are on. I'll check again after this post, but how do I fix this?

edit: i think cyclone disabled the smilies :\

I disabled the smileys to use wordfilters to display the EE smileys.

They appear very rarely cayse of some strange bug. O.o seems to always work

Alex: Try putting them on, but replacing the usual forum smilies with the new EE ones.
