I've never had a level of mine trolled before, because I'm not stupid enough to give out the code.

Why bother? Anyone dumb enough to give their code to someone they don't know isn't gonna bother checking a list to see if a name's on it

The easiest way to find trolls, in my opinion, are free worlds. Build a smily or house and just wait for someone to come near. Chances are, they're going to ruin it.

but in open worlds, nearly everybody trolls, when they might or might not in a locked world.

Yeah, it's not really a good method, but it can help you find potential trollers, as some people in free worlds don't like having their stuff screwed up either, so those people probably are good.

There is no simple way to figure out if a person will troll. If you have beta best to save your level before you give the code so even if they do happen to troll you can always go back to your room. Thing about trollers 7 out of 10 people are more then likely going to troll, that is those who ask for your code and wont take no for an answer. Those who randomly give the code out you have a 50 50 chance the person your giving the code to will troll. Seeing how "behavior" would fall into this if your on a game site that is linked to EE if you watch how the person acts in a chat room can give you a good idea of how s/he will act in a room. If they have chat on EE as well as you, and seeing how they would act there could also give you a clue. Such behaviors like a person what is called "brown nosing" to you, another would be called being cussing you or others, saying they can make your room better. Simple common sense things could provide you with a clue. Again if you have beta then you should save before giving the code. This isn't the best idea, but it something to think about before giving the code to your room. Those who doesnt have a beta room best to only give your code to who you can trust and ask around if the person your going to give the code to can be trusted.

[Edit] Now that non-betas have names now its best to only give your code to those who have names and if trolled give feed back to others of that person's name. Though still try fallowing what I've already said. About the best way to deal with trollers.

Oh come on, I'm definitely not a troll...

You might want to double check and make sure who's actually trolling and who's following and trying to capture their name. I have to say though, it seems that it is rather hard to actually find who's who.

Anyways, it was actually a guest-troll on that level. I wasn't able to see a name on him.

I would appreciate it if you could remove my name from the list.
