What a pointless argument to start.

People generally prefer the sport that's more popular where they live, and in England that's football (which is the correct thing to call it, because you play with your feet). Also the rules aren't a faff to teach to a newb.

I could argue that European football is better because it takes more skill to control the ball with your feet than with your hands, making it more entertaining to watch really good players. Also if you think that women don't also throw themselves at famous football players then you're dumb.

I'd like to add a new point of view to this discussion. I think soccer is superior to football because soccer players are way hotter to look at while playing and all other timesaver. Football players look like inflatable dolls with 10% too much air in them. Soccer players in the other hand have just the perfect bodies. Also soccer clothing is waay sexier, (especially the german national team). Football players look like clowns in their weird clothing.
