Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Since EX Crew Shift isnt on anymore I decided to make a new shift bot. However, I need levels for this bot.
So....
Level Requirements:
50x50 world
Green Blocks: Can build on
Red Blocks: Cant build on
Border: Any Blocks are fine
No special blocks: (doors, gates, switches, portals, etc.)
Green, Blue, Red, Magenta, Cyan, and Gold Doors, Gates, and Keys are allowed, just don't use them in the border
Coin Marks the end of the level. In this shift you dont collect coins to exit, by touching a coin your move on to the next round.
Users will exit out of the top of the red blocks
Good Luck!
(P.S. Dont make levels too hard!)

50x50 will take forever to make. I would use 25x25 instead.

You can make game play more fun if it's possible to place special blocks

Shift is overrated. They're just minis - the bot's features barely improve the quality of the gameplay. It's not a BAL, not really.
Try making a unique BAL instead.
One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

It adds extra competitiveness without people being like: "I was first!" "No, I was!".
Aside from that, the idea of shift can be implemented in other ideas to actually give it extra content.
And it makes it more accessible to compete with random people, since it'd be a bit hard to just rally up a bunch of random people for a race in a regular mini level. They will probably ignore you.
Try making a unique BAL instead.
I don't see the problem to remake a bot that has died.
People seemed to enjoy it and the original is probably not going to be hosted again.
Why let the bot die when people enjoy playing it?
Obviously the problem with a bot like shift it was mainly the minis that made it fun, so if this remake would have crap minis, it'd obviously be better left as it is. But can't hurt trying.

If you really wanted to use a 50x50 world, id advise having 2 seperate areas, and building it while the previous game is running, so you can start as soon as the previous one finishes

You can use orange switches to let a certain number of people through and place them in order of winning. There's not much more you can do with shift, which at its core is just a rotating set of static minis with a round-based system. If you add falling fire or something else to make the minis dynamic, it wouldn't be shift anymore - it would be a BAL which changes maps the same way shift does.

The problem is that a remake gets compared to all other versions of itself, making it more difficult to impress people with one. A unique BAL doesn't have to compete; even if it's not very well made, as long as the idea's good it'll be received well because people haven't seen it before. It's new and exciting, whereas dig, shift and snake are not.
Don't you want a greater variety of BALs?

What's wrong with complaining about how bad Shift is and you trying to bring it back?

Just some drama like always you'll get used to it
I don't care the bot isn't original. I only care about the game play of the maps.

I think Level Creation would be a better fit here.

A shift bot is a sort of minigame bot, that builds a minigame in the world, then people race to beat it to earn points or something. I think sometimes people forget that not everybody has played since it was still a thing.
