Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Linux problems with Nokia Cellphone font

I have added the font into my "fonts" folder, but i can't access this font with gimp. Any ideas?

hiyo
I tossed your thread into the off-topic space, since it doesn't really involve EE, but linux gimp and a font.

thankso

Re: Linux problems with Nokia Cellphone font

You tossed it into ~/.fonts right? And then you updated your font cache or rebooted?

I think GNOME Font Viewer can install fonts too if you don't want to mess around with that.

Either reboot or "fc-cache -fv"

So fc-cache-fv is a command?

Yes, but you must add the space before -fv.

fc-cache -fv

Space is important.

Re: Linux problems with Nokia Cellphone font

You don't need to use the terminal, just use GNOME Font Viewer. Couldn't be easier, takes less than 30 seconds.
