Ok, yesterday when ee was getting completely destroyed by luciferX/Icepegasus, Me and some of my friends in the "world spam..." topic gave evidence to prove it was him.

Then today, i get a ban for "evading word filter and abusive language"

Please tell me who reported me for this,

I swear this moderation team bans for no reason.

Like when koya banned Marco/Realmaster for spamming in HIS OWN WORLD.

Please comment if i should be banned for this or not and for 1 day wtf.(i dont even evade word filters, last time i did that i was banned for 3 days by a mod (nvd).

I got a dozen reports against Marco's bots.

I will not say who reported you & the room you were banned in was visible to the public and was in the lobby with at least 5 people in it; so by no means private.

Can you please contact staff through PMs.

Not all swearing is against the rules, but bypassing the word filter so that people with the word filter enabled with any banned word is against the rules.

What lukestas said should have looked like "**** this" to someone with word filter enabled.

No you dont, since you joined EE's moderation team A lot of people have been banned for evading word filter saying "****" isnt against the rules, i dont wanna say swear words in ee so

Evading the swear filter is worse than just swearing, you are permitted to swear - just not at people.

You can easily get by without swearing or evading the swear filter.

Getting banned for censor evading is so dumb. And I don't mean the rule is dumb but the person who is censor evading, I mean why can't you just swear like a normal person does??

I prefer to shorten f*** to just the first and last letters, as imo it sounds less harsh than using the full word. Maybe you could add a few variations of the common swear words to the list of censored words, so that people can use them without getting pwned for unintentionally evading the censor.

I can't remember the situation clearly (it happened though, not denying) but I think I would have temp banned them after.

If half or quarter day bans were possible I would have felt more comfortable doing that to you; but the word filter is there for a reason so people can look at the chat and not see some of the stuff that is said so don't bypass it, better yet avoid getting near the word filter.

If you present people with swears that they do not want to see then the bad guy isn't the one enforcing that rule.

so that koya can have fun banning at little times ( e.x. 4 hours or something, or 6 ), since recently I've seen a lot of people get banned around koya.
I mean I agree with the reasons, in particular I think it's a little harsh for the amount of time and my personal opinion at what rules "weigh",
but seriously you need to make 1 sec bans possible so koya can ban for an hour or two or something, the amount of people getting banned at a 1 day thing is killing the population just a little bit more, so if possible please please add 1 sec bans, so koya/other mods can have fun banning at shorter times because of this.

I agree with Koya. If you are trying to go around the filter, they should be banned for it.
I don understand why "****" would be allowed when the most people know it's a bad word.

If there are more people that is getting banned. It means that Koya does his work. Which some other mods didn't care about.

Edit: http://i.imgur.com/wGVZdfa.pngf gj, now you have been ban evaded too. Which is also against the rules.

Wait so if we say a bad word and it isn't censored its allowed? But if we say part of it we get banned? Saying bad words that are censored allowed.
That means if we say bad words in different languages its allowed. Even if it isn't censored.

Just to explain this specific rule a bit: When you abbreviate a bad word, space it out, or remove one or two letters from it, the word bypasses the filter. This defeats the purpose of players using the filter. Doing this is against the rules and will get you banned. Spelling out the word the correct way ensures it is censored keeping those who don't want to see it from seeing.

Now, spelling out bad words in full isn't going to keep you from getting banned. If the words are used negatively toward someone, bypassing the filter or not, you can be banned for harassment according to the severity of the offense.

I like to use the word fudge as a replacement for the f word.
This is allowed right?
