Undertale Mafia game thread

1. All forum rules apply, however spam and multi-posting rules are more lenient. So long as your posts are relevant to the game it shouldn't be an issue, but don't push it.

2. Do not post in this thread unless you are alive in the game. All posts made by dead players and people not in the game will be deleted. No exceptions.

3. You may not edit or delete your posts. This function will be disabled in this game.

4. Do not quote someone else's post and edit for misleading purposes.

5. You must stay active and contribute to discussion to stay in the game. If you stay inactive too long, you will be prodded for inactivity and replaced if you don't respond to the prod within 24 hours. Earning more than one prod will result in you being replaced or modkilled.

6. Do not quote, copy paste, or screenshot any message sent by the game moderator for any reason. Paraphrasing is allowed, such as saying your night result or what your role is, but don't copy paste an entire role pm.

7. Do not gamethrow. Gamethrowing is defined as actively working against your role/faction's win condition, and is dealt with on a case by case basis.

8. As soon as a majority is reached, it counts as the day being over. The moderator may not be there to lock the thread immediately so do not post after majority is reached.

9. You may not talk about the game with other players through any means not approved by the moderator. This includes dead players. No exceptions.

10. Remember that this is just a game. If I see any form of harassment that may warrant a replacement or modkill.

11. If any player breaks any of these rules please private message me on the forums and I will deal with it. Do not use the forums report feature to report someone breaking one of the game rules unless they are also breaking a forum rule.

12. The moderator's word is final. If I say not to do something it means don't do it. If you have an issue then it's best to save until the end of the game as to not interfere with the game.

If you have any questions you can pm me or post in this thread, however keep in mind that questions relating to the current game I will likely not be able to answer, so only ask about game mechanics.

You are reading too far into this. It's been established that characters =/= alignment.

I am curious to which game you are referring to Luka. What did you mean by

That's because I have a deep personal fear of being wrong, so I lay out all possibilities for the smarter people to determine one way or the other. Should I reserve all my thoughts to myself in a game like this just because I haven't come to a hard conclusion? No, I'll speak my mind, and doing so doesn't require me or anybody else to definitively say whether somebody is scum or town, which is what you're suggesting here. Do you want me to make pretty colored posts of leanings or do you want me to give my thoughts on players and their possible motivations? Not to mention half of your rephrases are putting words in my mouth which I really shouldn't even bother to correct

Shame that it's always the same people playing mafia and you have to say the same thing every time. When will they learn?

Jawapa forces lynches, gives no real reason why, goes for a nolynch and suspects everyone who suspects him.

Fair point. You could say I'm guilty of lurking as well but Kaslai is notorious for idling as mafia. Then again, no one has really made a bold gesture compared to past mafia games. D1 should just be food for thought.

Mafias are PRs too, so we can say it's pretty much even

We have a huge advantage this game. Usually town only has 3 PRs. Now that everyone has a PR and assuming that the majority of players have to be townie, we have at least 8 PRs. This is not counting Neutral Roles.

Because on the few posts he has, he seems to be willing to nolynch, then is saying that noone voted is mafia for him, but ends up lynching Kaslai, and then following the crowd onto JaWapa. This is a complete 180 turn if you ask me. He has a low post count so there's not much data I can pull from his posts.

I'm leaning nolynch but I still want to get the most amount of info before the day ends. Voting on people wouldn't be as effective if you outright tell them you had no intention of actually lynching them.

I do not think Jawapa is mafia currently. He gave his reasons why he voted and you keep ignoring them. However, this probably could have been avoided if Jawapa clarified his vote in his original post.
