Here is a contest you do not have to sign up.

EE artist not allowed, nor is making a copy of an image, though it is recommended you use images for guidance.

The goal: draw something shiny. it must be shiny because it is wet

like if it has water on it.

examples:

you can see the shine thing on the left

you can easily tell that there is moisture(?) on its surface because of the shine

same as above

idk if these things would look shiny without liquids on them, but the shine makes it look like there are liquids on them at least

this is also shiny because of water [the hand]

this one is not permitted because its just the water being shiny as like a distinct entity
the liquid has to be like a film on the object

this contest has no prize

however i will pick the ones i like as winners

there are more contests planned for future

IMPORTANT
if you have a background, it can be important in making the shine being from the water
eg fruits are often shiny even without water
you could make it look like the shine is from water by making the apple splashing in water or something

There is no deadline. This way you do not have to rush the levels, and so that you would not feel any need to prioritize it over other things.
I do stress the fact that there will be future contests. You may want to finish before the next contest so that you can then focus on that one. But again, there are no deadlines.

BTW if you make any significant progress and you dont care about people seeing your level before its completed you are welcome to share the progress here, and welcome to share any tricks you find for succeeding in successfully making the picture appear as if it is shiny because of a film of moisture.

This contest is now officially over. I have no time to judge anymore due to the fact that I am now receiving tuba lessons from Matt. (Slushie)

sorry but some people seem to be trying to abuse this system and end the contest early:

under no circumstances will the contest ever end unless something else ends like the planet or something extreme like that

Hello, here are some more examples.

I had trouble finding plant life that didnt merely have drops of water on it. But now i have succeeded in finding one with a film

the rocks in the picture are also good examples of rocks with a film of moisture

an example of wet sand on the beach having a shine

here is another organ that (i think) appears shiny because of the moisture on it.

hopefully these examples will help you with your levels
