You're not a beta member. Once you get beta, you can get the rewards, until EE 2.0 goes public.

Do you pay the baker for bread? Yes otherwise he wouldn't have the money to live and make more bread.

Well then. This new dev team worked awesomely hard for two whole months... 10$ is the MINIMUM you might want to pay their final product.
