Strategic 20 Questions
Premise

I am thinking of a City. It is your job, as a group, to determine what city it is.

For the sake of definition, a city has more than 100,000 citizens.

Rules

- In your post, you can make a guess and ask a yes/no question.

- Only ask one question per day.

- Every day, I will answer one question, of my choice.

- My goal is to keep you from guessing the city within 20 questions.
(We'll see how this goes, might give extra questions)

Question: Is it in the Northern Hemisphere?
Guess: China

Question: What letter does the country start with?
Guess: USA

Question: Did this country win more than 10 gold medals at the 2004 Athens Olympics?
Guess: Kenya

Question: Is it in North America?
Guess: Sweden

Question: Is it near the equator?
Guess: England

None of you have guessed correctly.
Q1: Is it in North America? No.
You have 19 questions remaining.

... And the questions would continue, narrowing the options down (hopefully) until you win.

▼Hints for good questions

Hints for good questions

- Make sure it's a yes/no question. I will not answer it if I can't simply state yes or no.

- Don't be too specific. In the example game, Player 4's question was chosen, because it only removed a handful of options.

- I'd rather not have to Google an answer to your question. Player 3 in the example game did this wrong.

- Make sure your question is easily answerable. Player 5's question was not well defined - how near is "near"?

- Don't repeat questions that have been answered.

- If you agree with someone else's question, repeat it. If three or more people ask the same question, I'll answer it.
