Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

If they were losing money, Why not make it 50 cents?
*sigh* *facepalm*
About 95% of the people didn't know that you get 50 gems from getting chat. I'm glad I'm part of the 5%. Put me as neutral, because I don't really care since I didn't plan to get chat, anyway.

It should be just free, who cares what the parents think? It's their responsibility to talk and take control of their children and to limit their rights, not Chris'.
$3 is too much for a damn basic human right; communication.

That's exactly what I was thinking.
I agree, so you can add me to the list, 272.
I think part of the reason he did this may be to avoid spam. But I don't agree, I don't think that you should complain about this. You get 2 things back, and you could have bought it when it was 1 cent, so why didn't you?

The server can handle it very much, and people could be given a proper ignore list.

I'll ask here instead of making a new topic- can I pay for the chat using a pre-paid credit card? The $3 is no prob but I'm not keen on using my own card or my Paypal which would reveal my name and address.
But anyone wanting chat would have got it by now, and any new people won't complain because they didn't know it was 1 cent.
Squirrel PayPal is seperate from ee, so no one will find out where you live (nor does anyone care).
It comes with 50 gems though. 50 gems would usually be 5$. So basically for 3$ your getting 50 gems AND chat. I like it.
Put me on the raise it to $20 list. I like watching you people complain over pointless stuff.

It isn't pointless, it is an opinion that is worth cash, which I have a hard time thinking that's going to change since someone seems to like EE only for it's revenue.

In real life would you prefer everyone was completely mute?
Might as well go hide in a closet.

I would like it a tad more too, had gems not been just virtual items.
you could have bought it when it was 1 cent, so why didn't you?
The new players' parents didn't exist in the past.

I wouldn't say saving money is not pointless. Even if it is only $2.99. Giving money away to others is not a hobby of mine.

I agree that it should be free. The censorship is presice as hell anyway. You can hardly talk about anything without a *** popping in somewhere.
1) Petitioning will do nothing, as Chris does not view the forums.
2) You might be making this a bigger deal than it actually is.
3) We have a topic to discuss updates, please post there.
Closed.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.
