Jews - No Jesus, No Muhammed
Christians - Jesus, No Muhammed
Muslims - Jesus + Muhammed

They're all based off of the same things. Which makes it hilarious when Christians call Muslims violent. Crusades anyone?

As nice a thought as religion is, it's just stupid. Anyone with any brains or objective reasoning can see there's no evidence for it. To be honest, you lost all credibility when you said you think evolution means humans evolved from chimps. Wise up.

"If you fear highhandedness from your wives, remind them [of the teaching of God], then ignore them when you go to bed, then hit them. If they obey you, you have no right to act against them. God is most high and great."

The Quran, Sura 5:51:
?O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he among you that turns to them for friendship is of them.?

The Quran, Sura 4:89:
?Seize them and slay them wherever you find them: and in any case take no friends or helpers from their ranks.?

The Quran, Sura 4:102:
?For the Unbelievers, Allah has prepared a humiliating punishment.?

The Quran, Sura 8:57:
?So if you gain the mastery over them in war, punish them severely in order to disperse those who are behind them, so that they may learn a lesson.?

The Quran, Sura 8:67:

I could go on and on, but I do not have time right now. These are the words told to be from Allah. The word of Allah can not be interpret in any other way, what you read is exactly what the muslim shall believe in.

Muhammad had many wifes, because they was given as gifts to him, the same with Aisha whom just was a little girl when she married Muhammad.

Islam gained supporters and ground because of the invasions Muhammad was leading, and later during the middle ages when christians had to go on a holy crusade.

You two should at least learn the basics of Islams history.

Many people that are criticizing christianity uses sources from the old testament. And yes, there are some nasty things in the old testament. But that is not relevant for the discussion about christianity. Since christianity is founded in Jesus believes about love and respect, christians can't stand responsible for what's in the old testament. That's why we are having the new testament.

In the old testament, God was the God of revenge. But if you have studied religion in school, you will know that God changed and became the God of forgiveness (new testament). So, basically, christians lives by the new testament, that's about loving your friends, family, strangers and even enemies. Christians doesn't live by the old testament, that's the jews part of the book.

The bible says god is perfect. And that his laws are absolute and perfect. If his laws/words are perfect, why does he need to change them?

To be exact, Jews in fact believe in Jesus. Jesus visited Jerusalem. Remember? Jerusalem is part of the Jewish kingdom.

Christianity does not necessarily mean organized religion/the chruch.

Changing the laws does not affect God, they affect us. We are the ones who are imperfect, so God changes them to adapt to us.

Oh, you misunderstand my position. I've actually made my stance quite clear in previous topics, I am an agnostic atheist. Besides, I don't think there is any position that would qualify anyone as a coward, one must examine their reasons behind such views before passing any kind of judgement.

I simply posted the video because it essentially tells you what I've already told everyone else before in the previous topics, nothing more and nothing less.

There are some parts in the old testament that are fine. Saying that gay is wrong is the true part.
Jews believe that Jesus was real, (I am a christian, I just know these things) but they don't believe his is gods son.
They think that a messiah will come, but will come unlike Jesus did. Like a king. Where as Jesus did from a human virgin,
Born in a place for animals. He wasn't introduced with lightning, storms, etc. There was a star, which the 3 Kings followed. But not everybody knew about these things.
