if i open the edit window   and the chat at the same time the chat is behind

It's not necessarily a bug, it's just that the menu tab window is slightly transparent.

but is the first time it happen, yesterday the chat window simply closed

I find it useful, I can chat and not have to reopen my brick tab.
You can also get 2 layers of chat boxes, click the chat button, open brick tab, press 't', close brick tab. You now have a chat box on another chat box.
