Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Saintcool's Music Tutorial

Hello Today I will be showing some of you how to make In-game music on Everybody Edits.

Step 1: First you will need to choose what song you are going to make, now if you are new to this try and pick a song/tune that was made for the piano or can easily be transfered to the piano.

Step 2: Now once you have picked your tune you will need to know the notes, for this I personally recommend <Snip> since you can slow it down/stop it ect. But you can always find videos of the exact same thing on youtube by searching <Snip>.(Remember you will just want to follow the green/highest bars)

Step 3: Now your ready to start on Everybody Edits with your "Music Bars" (Note: these are not called Music bar's they have no official name). These are the containers of yout music. There are a multiple of different kinds of music bar's as following:

A was made by RPGmaster2000 and is the most common type of Music Bar
B Was made by Megalamb to get round the impossibility to play multiple note's.
And C was also made by Megalamb to get more tune's inside a level.
And D which it was possible it was made by dragoon11. But not 100% sure.
After you have built your containers fill them with arrows like in the picture.

Step 4: Now you have a container for your music, you should start filling it. after looking at your <Snip> you will know where the notes are, but if you just try and put down note's there will be a high chance of the timeing being off, this takes time but once you have learnt the timeing of the piece you can finish the rest of the tune easy. To get the timeing right keep listerning to the tune and count the time in between the note's then count the time it takes you to go through your Music Bar matching up the times when you should hit the note's.

Step 5: Now after you have filled your Music Bar keep going through it then listening to the original. If there are any difference's that you don't want correct them, people do notice these thing's.

Extra's: You can add some drum beat's in between note's to make it sound more funky but not too many
(Will insert other extra's in near-future).

Final Note's: Thank you for reading this tutorial and I hope you have learned from it and tell me any improvements/errors below.

Re: Saintcool's Music Tutorial

Thanks for this tutorial. I wanted to make some music using noteblocks a while ago, but didn't know how to start since i had no notes, and to be honest, i'm really bad at music, notes usually confuse me.     / +Rep

Re: Saintcool's Music Tutorial

You might want to add Horizontal Stripes to the list of music bars, it plays multiple note quite well.

Re: Saintcool's Music Tutorial

Just a few typos you may want to correct:
>line 1: 'In-game music' should be 'in-game music'
>Step 3: You wrote 'music bar's' twice - should be 'music bars'. Also, 'yout' rather than 'your'
>Extras: 'extra's' should be 'extras', 'beat's' should be 'beats' and 'music bar's' should be 'music bars'

Hope this helps! Great article otherwise... +rep
