Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I arrive on the scene. I'm a little lost considering I just got here, and it would be beneficial to survey the area and understand the status of both the monster and battlefield before me. Perhaps I can glean some crucial information, like a weakness of some kind.
(I would like this game to come back, seems interesting)
A huge part of the original Everybody Edits was its feeling of community, that people can join a world and collaborate together on an overall picture. Minis, free-edit worlds, boss worlds; whether you were playing them or making them it was inclusive in that sense. To compound with this, the best periods of EE also had a very strong player-developer relationship. Not many games can replicate this effectively, which I suppose is why I'm still here.
Isn’t this whole thread an actual example of why such decisions are made in the first place
However, the toxic minority has hurt our willingness to engage with the community as we know that each time we do, it often results in us, our colleagues, or community members, being attacked or trash-talked in spaces we have little to no control over.
Yes. Does that make it a good decision? Absolutely not. It's like detonating a nuclear bomb to stop three burglars.
hey man i wouldn't have said anything if i didnt receive an email about how the staff team is 1984ing us
i think that's the funniest part, that they went out of their way to tell us that
interrupted my day fr
How could they have possibly thought more silence was the solution?
Clear as day, all they needed to do was show, not tell. But hey, at least we can be assured that now we'll be getting neither.
On top of that, are they really trying to frame silencing their community as a good thing? I'm no professional as they are, but even I know cutting off the reason you can even develop this game is quite possibly the worst decision you could make.
At this point this whole EE! thing has to be a Harvard experiment because there's NO WAY this isn't some kind of psychology study.
47. refuse to learn your lesson (see 23)
id die if it meant twitter and the culture surrounding it was wiped from existence
hate that place
seriously, what kind of world are we living in where a bunch of adults act like children and dogpile one person for (usually) inoffensive things? every time i accidentally click on twitter explore i instantly lose any good mood im in.
maybe im overreacting.
Heya, I remember you. Nice to see you back
You can PM a forum mod to request a name change. And if you're on Discord you can join the EE! server and enjoy some leaks
It's cool, trust me. Invite.
I think I remember your name floating around, too. If I'm remembering, you were pretty active, and it's impressive that you still are.
Thanks for telling me about the name change thing as well.
It's been a while. I left this small community of a mismanaged game for dead about a year ago, and became apathetic to the game even longer ago. I remember playing this game when I was like 9 or 10 as a guest, and coming back to it around 14 to make an account and relive some old nostalgia or whatever. Now I'm a few months from 18, I'm checking back in. And boy, from the few minutes of recent Game Business I've seen, I might check in a little more often. It's good to see the game to be (what looks like) back on its feet.
I'm not expecting any warm welcomes considering my immaturity and general nobody-ness in the past, but if you're interested why don't you ask me something or fill me in on something important?
Also! Nice to see the art direction changed to pixel art. The set color palettes and tileset format is heaven on earth so that might convice me to go back to designing stuff like that, maybe even offer some stuff for the game. Who knows.
Also also, I've changed my alias from DarkComet to dcomet. It's shorter, sweeter, and waives any relationship with something else that shares the name.
WAIT, how do I change my username on these forums? Is there a way to do that? It's been a long while.
It was fun while it lasted.
I know I don't come here anymore, but every once in a while I did check.
And I hoped, one day, that there would be a resurrection. Unfortunately, that's too much to ask for.
I guess I never will get an admin label in one of my worlds...
I'll be seeing you all in the future, if there is one.
not sure if this was suggested before since im not gonna bother with going through a billion topics (sorry mods) but yeah, bouncy blocks.
hitting these blocks at any angle will cause you to bounce at a certain % of motion. how much %? not sure.
paired with the slopes, gravity arrows. or whatever they're planning, this might be an interesting thing for minis.
alright see you guys in another 7 months

it's owner access
now we can't see the bottom half of the screen, but there could be pages of smileys (also makes saving smileys more useful)
there could also be a setting for max rows of smileys per page, also maybe 'transparent backdrop' so you could see in the blind area (could also be used for block picker menu).
