When connected to the internet, EEPC will still have the core functionalities of Everybody Edits. The lobby will remain the same as the browser version, and the shop, campaigns, and settings will still be available. However, gem purchasing should not be available in EEPC due to it being easier to hack a computer program to give free gems, than to hack the EE servers.

When you're not connected, the lobby will only show your worlds (with maps) and the news/friends/crew panel will now be labeled On This Computer. The On This Computer tab also has worlds with minimaps, however the borders are a darker grey and their names all end with the .wld extension. These worlds are called world files and are stored on your computer. If you are loading up EEPC for the first time all you will see in On This PC will be the Add World button. Clicking this will allow you to select a world file from your computer to add. The button will be at the bottom of a larger file list.

If you click on a world in the list of your real worlds, it opens Build Mode. It functions the same as if you had edit rights in EE, except there are obviously no players there. In Build Mode you can change the world's properties like the code, name, and background. If you reconnect and you have changed a world that has players in it, all players will recieve a one minute warnong before the level is reset to reflect the new changes. If you have made edits in both the browser and PC versions, you will be asked which one to keep, or merge the two.
If you open a file, on the other hand, you enter Edit Mode. Edit mode is basically the same as Build Mode, except that the changes are saved to your computer instead of your worlds. You can still change all of the properties as well as playtesting it, but even if you reconnect nobody will see it, as it is not an actual world.
If you want to access Build Mode while connected, click the small hammer icon next to the word MINE on the level you want to build in.

A world file (.wld) contains data that forms an EE level. They can be used to experiment with systems and concepts, practice your art skills, or just troll to let out your rage. But the main purpose is so you can have interchangeable worlds. Under the Modify World tab in a real world in EEPC, there will be a new Import File option. If you click that, you can select a .wld file from the list, which will then replace what is already in the world. A smaller world file can be imported into a larger world. It will be centred and the empty space around the sides will be filled with fully black blocks. This will also reset players.
The file structure is pretty easy to do:

DESC = These are the noobiest minis you'll ever play.

As you can see by the SIZE line, this allows for customizable dimensions - keeping in mind it cannot exceed 400x200 or 300x300.
Example - To create portal 2 facing up at x=4 and y=42 with target 55, the code would be [4,42,242,2,55,2] (default state=1, 1 click=2, etc)
For a world portal, it would be [4,42,374,PW809k4Hf8bkI]
I might be missing a few of the top lines.
Due to limited items, importing of files can only happen when you're connected. If, say, your file contains 13 coin doors and you only have 10, you will get an error message saying, "Whoops, you don't have enough coin doors, either buy some more or delete some from the file."

If you know Photoshop, feel free to make some pictures of the offline lobby and other stuff in this suggestion.

Update: The one way brick has been replaced with a booster to prevent players from stopping and hitting the switches twice for free low-grav.

- "The level was fun to play, but I think you should change this, add that, and move these." Constructive criticism is always welcome, as it helps me improve the level.
- "Just to let you know, there's a missing block/typo/etc here." Thanks, I'll be sure to fix it.
- "Here's a suggestion for something." Any suggestion will be read, and if it's a great idea I'll add it, maybe even give you credit on a sign.
What I DON'T want:
- "The art was bad." Does this look like an art level?
- "It sucked." Why?
- "It was really awesome." Although this is nice to hear, a reason is always good.
- "It's impossible." No, I tested the whole thing and can assure you that it's 100% beatable.
- "What is the code?" There is no code. If I'm there and you can prove you beat the whole thing in normal mode, you get edit.
- "FREE GEMCODES @ WWWW.TOTALLY-NOT-A-SCAM.COM/EE!" Nobody likes you.
