Official Everybody Edits Forums

Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

EE Offline Client

Right now there is a .exe of Everybody Edits which can be downloaded from the beta site. This program, however, is nothing more than an exact copy of the game in .exe form. It can also only be played with an internet connection. My suggestion is a complete overhaul of the downloadable program, complete with offline features. (From now on I will refer to the program as "EEPC" for Everybody Edits PC Edition)

Re: EE Offline Client

I think the team should concentrate on making the online version work better,

Re: EE Offline Client

But if you're offline, how will it check what blocks you have?

It won't. It checks when you try to import it, which can only be done while you are online.

Re: EE Offline Client

What happens if I'm half way through a level and I decide to go online? Does my player teleport to that location in the real online map?

The offline editor is separate and is only active when transferred to a world you have bought.

Re: EE Offline Client

I think you could already make your own client which does that (I think there was something called EE Animator which had a similar purpose, and there are also more recent offline editors).
