How do you differ Landfill, Off-topic and Spam?

Landfill is for topics that shouldn't have ever existed. They have 0 discussion value, and are absolutely worthless even for a joke.

Off-Topic is for things that aren't related to the game or forums, and don't fit in any of the more specific categories. You could call it "General" if that helps.

If by spam you mean the posts that get warned for spam, those are just low-effort posts or posts that add nothing to the discussion. I'm usually pretty laid back on this though. But if your post is complete irrelevant trash or is actively taking away from the discussion then I start handing out warnings.

New warning type Garbage that's essentially Spam (Major). Because apparently you guys think that the existence of Landfill means you guys need to fill it. It'll be handed out in response to topics that are clearly shooting for the landfill. It's a 3 point warning, so it's enough to immediately tick you up to the next tier of ban lengths from wherever you currently are. It sticks around for 6 months so if you try to pull the same thing when you're unbanned, that'll be another tier it kicks up.

Considering it's a warning you literally have to make an effort to achieve, I disagree. Put the tiniest amount of effort into anything and you'd never see it.

what if youre not sure if it belongs there or you think its fits fine in offtopic and post tto it an dget ban? i would make it a 8 months lasting 2 points

Purposefully aiming for the Landfill is the qualifying thing for the Garbage warning.

They were promoted to admins so the forums wouldn't be left adminless while I was going through some stuff. Then I decided they were kinda handy as admins so they stayed there. Then hummerz left.

question: what actualy is landfill other then a dump for locked topics that shouldnt exitst? can you post there if a topic gets openend? can you make a topic lock it let it be moved ot there then open it?

Even if a topic in Landfill is unlocked, normal users don't have the permissions needed to post in there. It's not necessarily for locked topic but every topic that's trash enough to get put there is going to be locked.

Time to update those spam filters before Baba Ji takes over the forums.

Perhaps posts hidden by the anti-raid should have their titles hidden too.

EDIT: Reminder that once a raid alert is started, other people need to flag the posts as a raid for the user to get banned.
