Side notes: This was a very straightfoward level. The concept was simple, yet original, which was great, as there wasn’t much sign reading. The minimap art got a 4, because there was the occasional randomly not shaded part (the gray thing on the right), and it could’ve used a sun. Ingame art got an 8, which is the highest score I’ll probably give unless someone goes, like, all out, and that’s a focus of their level (Like badoosh’s levels). Overall, a very good map.

Side notes: It was just a minigame level. The minis started out nice, but they started to get worse. Some of them didn’t feel tested (like the boost one with the very long sign before it, and the last mini.) The second to last mini was just arrow and block spam, it looked lazy. The ingame art score is the lowest I’m going to give if the level is not eyerape. The theme still gets points because it’s sandy, which I guess is summer, but the level doesn’t really have anything to do with it. I would advise testing minis more, and if a mini takes you more than like, 20 tries to do, get rid of it. It’s better for a level to be too easy than too hard.

Side notes: It was a nice level, though it didn’t feel very summery. The black background with the stars decoration almost reminded me of a winter level. The difficulty was pretty easy, but then at the 14th coin, there was a really tough jump. Ingame art got a 9 just because of that one checkered room (checkered blocks never work). Overall, a pretty nice level, but the theme could use some work

Side notes: It was a nice idea (last day of school), but it was another story level. It was really… random at some parts (jump to listen to tree what). Crossing the ocean was… really difficult. Your difficulty got docked quite a bit for it. It was a nice concept, but it needed to be easier and… make more sense.

It was a nice level, but it was WAY too easy. This is something you could’ve entered for the spring contest and the difficulty would’ve been acceptable. If a level is too easy, I’ll give 5 points for difficulty, as it’s better to be too easy than too hard. Creativity was marked down slightly because it is just a coinhunt (along with gameplay). Enjoyment remains at a 5, though, because it is still an enjoyable level.

Side notes:Another NSFW world. It has the classic style of mini, nice art, something you would expect. In terms of summer, it’s a little… off. Having some sand and a sunset doesn’t make it feel summery, which is why the theme was marked down slightly. The difficulty was a little hard, but not as hard as people are saying tbh. Creativity was marked down (very slightly), because it’s kinda an odyssey ripoff tbh. Regardless, It’s still a nice level, and the score reflects that.

Side notes: I applaud this team for trying something new… the result however turned out okay, not great. The segments where you went underwater were annoying at first because of how little time you got in addition to the extremely fast motion and accidentally going above water, but once you got your first upgrade (which can be somewhat tedious) the gameplay improves drastically. There are accessible little areas which let you play minis for blue coins, which I truly enjoyed, and wish there were more of. Unlocking all the blue coins is simply a joy. However, the gameplay takes a stark turn above water…. Above water there are these wave sections that are almost totally luckbased and you have very little control, and originally you needed all of them to beat the level; thankfully that is no longer needed. It still seems like the waves are a wasted opportunity however, because they are an annoyance at best, and once you fall to the bottom of the waves you cannot ride the waves again which is frustrating. As for the art I like what they were doing, the only thing was that the orange color gave me the feel of being in this long neverending summer day; the feeling of tedium. However it was very nice on minimap and looked ok-ish ingame too. I had trouble having fun at first but this is really a level you need to LEARN to have fun on… kind of like in those Learn to Fly games, they’re only fun if you really get into them. So overall it was a bit overwhelming (WAVES SUCK) but I liked that they tried to do something new and the result was good, albeit not great.

It wasnt like “oh hey, lets see the sights and have some fun!” as much as “hit 3 switches, go back. Rinse. Repeat”. There’s not very much to it. That being said, if it was like, an ultra wide, and you made the ingame art like REALLY cool, like bee’s pretty how town or something, The concept would have felt better, as it could’ve felt like you were actually vacationing and seeing the pretty sights.

Almost all the backgrounds in the carnival pack are complete eyerape. The minis aren’t anything special either, just some regular jumps, with the occasional pretty hard challenge (difficulty curve didn’t seem to exist). If the carnival BG wasn’t there, your level would’ve gotten a MUCH higher score.

The theme would’ve been a 10, though, if you made the mountain include a bit more sand instead of grass, to make it look a bit more beachy/summery. I was kinda annoyed how you didn’t fill the empty space with black blocks (you didn’t get marked down for it, it was just a little annoyance). It was kinda odd how the trials were harder than the rest of the level, you should make them easier to keep a difficulty curve going. Overall a pretty good level, but if I was disqualifying I probably would make sure you didn’t get 1st due to lack of summer. The hat thing was dumb though.

….Matrimonial CRAP proportionnnnnnnn BABYYYY!!!!
….Yeah, much isn’t needed to be said about this level (so why even use the grading system?)... it’s a carbon-copy of their previous level plus more layered unnecessary shenanigans much like a woman’s face that is layered, relayered, and triple-decked with thousands upon thousands of cancerous creams and facial make-ups that would make the original mice that occupied our humble earth spin and twirl roundabout their cutey-sized graves; it really tries to be something new, but when you pick off these sun-dried, crinkly, and frankly low quality L’Oreal encrusted doos, you’ll see that it is a clone of the already awful entry that came before!-- so basically it is their spring contest entry except a little worse (see, told you I’d keep it short, after all this whole review is just one sentence ;O)... I believe I gave the spring contest entry a 3/10, so I’ll give this one a 2.5/10!

Side notes: Let me start off by saying the minimap is phenomenal. And I wanted to start there because, well, there’s not really anywhere to go forward from the start because from here on out we’ll only be going backwards. I’m not joking -- it’s really...that… bad. Think of this level like some shady businessman: he hands you this wonderful postcard and tells you about how great this vacation spot is. Then, when you actually get to the place, it’s the bloody Pacific War. That’s essentially what this level is; it tries to make you think it’s good by having a marvelous minimap when in reality the gameplay is just a sack of complete and utter garbanzo baked *PUM*. This level is essentially a dumb blonde, with no interesting personality or backtraits or gameplay to be seen and the only appeal are it’s visual a e s t h e t i c s. It’s shameworthy to meagerly SLAP your half-processed arrow OATMEAL and just BLORP it all over your crappy art, sorry to say! ;( If you wanted to go with the 3d-art look, at least don’t make me look at it ingame, considering how awful it looks - honestly if I got a snapshot of the ingame look I would have trouble finding a snapshot of sewage and NOT mixing the two up. Maybe you could separate all this minimap shizz into one corner of the minimap, and then have quality and fitting gameplay in the other? You can still feel as though you’ve made this beautiful Michelangelo and still have some nice gameplay with fitting ingame art to top it off! Also, another detractor from the level were the golden drops… they were littered throughout this playable landfill and you need to pick up ALL OF THEM to beat the level; it takes the average person over 1 hour and 30 minutes to beat this level, which is a huge bukaka in the jardin at least from my perspective! If one word could sum this up, it’s that this level is Peena and the Rose 2: cliche storyline and arrowminis except this time instead of the main gameplay feature being traversing up dark, ominously endless towers of signs, the main feature is aimlessly wandering through the swamp of arrows and confusion, repeating the same minis over and over merely in the pursuit of golden raindrops. The best way to describe it is in sonatic form as Smitty Washingburry put it; “it goes on and on, and on, and on, my frieeeeeends… ohhh you know it goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on.”. This is exactly how you will feel in this labryinth of burbling arrow dhiarrheum and bomboozlingly cryptic “relic quests”. Can I also mention that this will probably get 1st place again? We all know the overly expensive toop-badoosh combomeal ADORES boring stories about monotonous incidents in nonexistant yet somehow more unimaginative than life streets of boring day life that have awkward dialogue and maybe have a little “~TWIST~” like SOMEBODY DYING!! *gasp* A story is automatically deep if SOMEBODY DIES, guys!! and automatically deserves first place prize did you know that I think you knew that NOT!!!! Anywho, I still have like 2-3 more pages of stuff to say but at this rate I am never going to get to bed, and I didn’t want to make this so damn long, but it appears I already did ...so basically my advice to you is to STOP. just stop. plz. ;-; im begging u
