Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I want to know how you guys would define noob.
My definition is this,
Noob-A player in a game that is new (I think there is nothing wrong with being a noob).
thx for sig bobithan

a newb = a new one
a noob = some one thats playing pretty long and still sucks
Newb = A new player.

Yep thats pretty much what most people think noob is, but we all know noob is so overused on EE.

That's pretty much what I think.
I started out a newb. i got better. Some people start out as newbs and become noobs. Or wrors, N00bs.
newb - a new player (newbie)
noob - Someone who's been here for a while and never gains skills.

My definitions of them are(In increasingly worse order):
Newb/Newbie-One who is new to something, have reason to be bad at it, but are willing to learn how to play
Noob-Someone who is still possibly new, are bad at somethings but possibly good at other things, but have no
want to learn anymore
N00b-Someone who is unlikely to be new, is bad at most things, but have no want to learn anything more
Nub-Someone who is not new, but plain out fails at everything
There's mine.
imo, noob is interchangable with scrub, they're both just terms to make fun of another person, as in saying that they aren't good at whatever it is that they're referring to. I don't think there's actual definition since there's so many different ways that it's used.

Newb is actually a short term for 'Newbie'
"noob" is just someone being mean.

^This. Defines the words perfectly.

Noob = Someone who fails and asks for code all the time except when he/she has it.
No that's not it. Noob isn't a word made up by everybody edits, the word is used in all multiplayer games. Nothing to do with a code.

a noob = some one thats playing pretty long and still sucks
Looks like most people think that. I thought noob was short for newbie and newb wasn't a word.
I feel dumb now.

So you hate noobs? And like Newbs? Oh my god. How much moron's in here. Why won't you all just grow up? You are acting like 9 year old's, which you all probably are.
Doesn't matter if somebody is a newb or a noob. That is no reason to hate them for being bad at a game. So stop acting like total d*psh*ts and grow up.

Its how i define noobs 1ttongue1
I'll be serious now.
Noob = Someone who is mostly bad at minigames.

I don't exactly understand. Noob, newb, nub, and n00b mean different things? That's like saying lol, lul, lawl, and l0l have different definitions (avoiding the acronym of League of Legends). I think all noob words share the same definition as "noob" and share no actual meaning other than someone who is new and fails at everything.

Exactly. I hate people being labeled for being bad at a game. For example: If your bad at Cod, YOUR A RETARD!
Its same thing as calling someone a newb!
there are only two words newbie and noob, all the others mean the same as noob except for newb which is short for newbie. there isn't really a reason to hate noobs, but maybe in EE if you are on a world like traps, or if they are on your world and they think your minis are too hard so they leave and make your world less popular.
