Why did Era got her chat degraded? Just wondering because me Sapsiv , Nicholas , lowee and someone else saw her in our world.

Yes, I had my chat removed to confirm ninjasupeatsninja's thought.
I have absolutely no idea why Era wanted it removed. I think it was "so nubs can't talk to me" or something.
I had mine removed since technically it was supposed to happen, since I abused it around 3 months ago.

Yea i did have my chat revoked voluntarily for a couple of reasons.
but since some ppl started assuming that i was a secret mod because i had a gray name i asked for it to be reinstated since i don't want to support this wierd "Secret mod" mentallity.

did era not say the grey name was because of the chat. i thought the grey name was because a profile was private.

If you do not have chat, your username is gray. It has been this way for years. Private profiles have nothing to do with it.

But how can I disable my chat, and why is there a section in the settings for chat, but no checkbox option to disable chat in it?
Not that I want my chat disabled right now. I'd just do it while playing campaigns.

There is no actual system, one of the devs/admins needs to manually edit you in the db.

Besides, I don't think they would restrict your chat while you're doing specific things. I heard that the staff don't like chatbanning people since they get so many questions or something.
