Hello creatures of this universe,
I had some spare time and pushed the, to be honest, kind of "web 1.0" looking website into 2015.
Sidenote: Yes, it's intended to be used with chrome.

This looks awesome! I like how you can switch to light and dark backgrounds... they sometimes can be a little bright.

Seeing how many people have made a way to darken the background, I intend to do so as well. I planned on it before, but kept forgetting.

EDIT: actually, I might look into some other designs and let people decide which one they want. We'll see.

Anch159, i am sure he did not mean a contest for a darker background. More like a contest for the whole website. I mean, that's a good idea - at the moment it ist just the beta page with some modifications. It looks like - old.

@Mylo - You will more than likely need help with the game ID thing. It took me forever to figure it out, and I only did because of sitebox.

PM me if you need to know how it's set up.

Also, profiles don't work on your site.

UPDATE:
Now you can share your worlds and profiles!
Also fixed bug #251, added a cute fade in for the dimmed background and introduced a cookie for saving the dim switch!!

Cool. Though the black is too dark. Try lightening it up to #111 or #1e1e1e

The site looks great just keep adding minor changes as listed above and you'll make it look way better than before.

A less cluttered site with important links and the interface showed above seems to be the best suit for the website.

The process of choosing the images:
I was searching for well fitting images representing the worlds I would like to see more often in EE, to give first time users a good impression of what could be made and should be made. I remembered a chatroom tokebot thanel creative and me were in quite often and looked at their profiles at first, thats how i found the main background (of the world 'Forgotten Fusion' by tokebot). When starting to play around with the debug.php I decided to have a spacer between the links and the information about Everybodyedits - that's where 'Pancakequest' found his place. I always loved the map and it's design and I guess it stands for one of EE's hardest maps ever. After (i think) Squad told me about the random background idea I started searching for other maps representing EE in a good way. I quickly found the database world of shift, and various other worlds by mostly EX Crew artists such as Ravatroll and Mihb.

I hope everyone is OK with his map being used,
if you want me to take your map's image down just leave a note in a pm.
